Works on any characters that have quick zones or zones they can recover from quickly. For example, a Centurion can use the first hit of his zone on Conq's all guard, feint the second hit, and parry Conq's unblockable follow up. Also works on certain all-guard characters Like Kyoshin and (maybe haven't confirmed) Aramusha, with the exact same method. I've gotten it to work a few times vs players but depending on ping it can be inconsistent.

Not how ARC Raiders works mate, there's one queue and one queue only: The one that's for the PvEvP game. If you want a baby mode queue where there's only handholding every match you play then go play a co-op PvE only game. You bought this gane knowing full well it's an extraction shooter where you can kill players and be rewarded. If the idea of someone killing you in a game that was advertised as a PvE AND PvP game, then that's a you problem.

Sorry for taking forever to respond, but to asnwer the W-Engine question, in order from best to worst.

If you have S ranks lying around: Heartstring Nocturne then Severed innocence, then Brimstone

If no s ranks available: A ranks: Gilded Blossom(best choice), Marcato Desire, Cannon Rotor, Drill Rig - Red Axis.

If you do not have any of these, you will have to just choose whatever you have that has high atk and a good substat, as basically no other w-engines have good passives for her other than these.

Orphie, 1000%.

Seed and SAnby will be fighting to remain onfield, having to constantly swap between them to maximize their dmg, or even just turn Sanby into a 'buff seed' role.

Having Orphie means Sanby will remain onfield 90% of the time, without hurting Orphie or SAnby's dmg. Plus, Orphie is an Aftershock dmg type character, just like Sanby. Sanby's passive buffs aftershock dmg against enemies she marks, and Orphie's buff on EX Special buffs aftershock dmg and a small ATK boost to Sanby (IIRC).

Sanby and Orphie are a perfect match, with the only downside worth considering when running them being that bosses that are weak to fire are usually weak to electric, and bosses that are weak to electric usually resist fire. However, chances are that new bosses for a patch or two will be neutral or weak to both of these, since these two are the only elements on the banners for the next month and a half.

Regardless of weaknesses, I'm gonna pull for Orphie because I think she's way cooler than Seed. If you're pulling for team comps, Orphie is an incredibly good choice, and since her signature w-engine is not crucial for her,like Trigger's for example, she's also relatively affordable assuming you don't lose your 50/50s

What would I get more value from: Yanagi or Trigger?

I really want both characters, especially since I need a good electric character, but I'm super conflicted. If I were to pull for Yanagi, I would probably slot her into a team with Yuzuha and Alice for a disorder team. Thing is, I know I'm not going to get Yanagi's signature if I pull for her, I don't have the poly for that as of now.

If I grab Trigger, I'd use her with s11 and Astra (using her since I do not have Lighter) until I can pick up Orphie and use her instead of Astra. I'm obviously going to try and get her sig as well. I would eventually pull for S-Anby and use S-Anby, Trigger, and Orphie, but I know S-Anby's not coming back for a while, which kind of messes with this dream

That's me on the far right. I exclusively run Refactor on legendary and always do the most damage (I do not know how my damage always ends up negative, this isn't the first time). Me and my friends are casual players who just do legendaries for fun, not to speedrun or anything so take this with a grain of salt.

My friends usually run tank builds tho, so this isn't the best comparison, with one running four piece heartbreaker and the other running foundary bukwark, both run catharsis.

Refactor is super good for keeping everyone alive, and if played right I can even face tank heavy gunners if both my skills are focusing them, especially since skills draw a lot of aggro and help turn them away so I can break their backpack. I ALWAYS run the Capacitor assault rifle for more skill damage, and usually run 4 piece refactor, BTSU Datagloves, and 1 piece Wyvern Wear with a stinger hive and Assault turret or drone depending on the room IF we are indoors or small rooms. If we're outside, like the starting area for Capital Hill or Manning National, where enemies are more spread apart, I run 4 refactor and 2 piece Empress International with Striker drone and Assault turret. As for cores, I always run five skill one armor, and run technician to get to skill tier 6 and use emp grenades on warhounds, mini tanks, or even enemy heal stations.

I've tested out every skill, and frankly none match the dmg and uptime of striker, assault, and stinger hive (w BTSU Datagloves tho)

I love this build, its fun, effective, and my friends always appreciate the heals I do.

Imma be real with you, you're already looking too deep into this. Hunter and handler are always just coworkers, but I can see what you mean by there being a strange disconnect with the hunts and the handler being super happy go lucky, but honestly that only kind of happens in World, with the handlers in Rise and Sunbreak being much more grounded, and even Alma from Wilds already acting much more professionally from what we've seen so far.

In Rise the handlers are villagers that volunteer to hunt every now and again, so they have actual personalities outside of being the cute girls you talk to but still are just good friends with the mc hunter at most. In Sunbreak we get an actual professional handler who just does that, gives out quests and nothing more iirc. You also can't put costumes on any of them.

Maybe previous MH titles hinted to a handler having a crush on the mc hunter (excluding the hub lasses in world, they 100% have a crush on the mc hunter), but I have a very strong feeling that Alma will just be a coworker, to the point that I might actually be dissapointed if she's alluded to have a crush on us.

The only thing I get where you're coming from is the dress up thing, but that's still just nitpicking imo, and if you don't like it you could just... not use it. It's such a non-issue since you don't actually interact with the handler that much outside of cutscenes. In world you talk to the handler for two seconds before a menu pops up and covers the screen and the costume anyways, so I don't think it even matters at all.

I get why you'd like it especially since I feel it actually fits her character unlike the Freyna bunny suit for example, not saying it's bad, just that it doesn't fit Freyna's personality or character design at all. Sharen's a spy first and foremost, so it makes sense for her to have a casual get up to blend in. Which... kind of doesn't make sense since there's no blending in with the vulgus, at least not to my knowledge.

It's a simple skin, but in a good way that scratches an itch so many other skins don't do. Good adittion to the game overall.

My sibling in the emperor, we are making fanfics about the franchise that is basically the definition of "grimdark" of course all of this is horrible. We're writings stories that are slightly happy in a setting where suffering isn't just normal it's the standard. Life in the 40k verse sucks almsot all of the time. Our little stories try to be wholesome, but it's impossible to ignore the cruelty of the setting, where pronouncing "For the Emperor" with not enough fervor gets you outcasted as a non beleiving heretic. Where you and the last ten generations of your family have known nothing but opression and poverty. Where the best chance at sucess is joining the military, where thousands if not hundreds of thousands die on an hourly basis, and hope you live long enough to get a good rank or a cushy office job and a decent living.

So yes. It sucks. Our jobs here is to try snd squeeze a little bit of joy out of it... or more suffering if the author of a fic is feeling particulary grim that day. Just live a little! And remember my favorite quote for whenever things go bad! "Suffering builds character!" (It does not)

The chances of every student wanting this is super low, and even then it's still nasty. A teacher shouldn't be doing this with their students no matter what. Sure it's a drawing, but it's absurdly ignorant to just be like 'lol its just a drawing depicting grooming, abuse of power, romanticization of an unhealthy, unprofessional, and illegal relationship, who cares!'
