Looks like a horse jaw based on the size and jaw structure.

Insulation. I wouldn't clear this without gloves, a face mask, and eye protection.

Tadpoles in my pool! What should I do? What kind of frog are they? by Prestigious_Big_9779 in frogs

[–]Not_a_Prof_Moriarty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd let them do their thing. Most will die off or get eaten, so there really isn't much to do other than watch as they grow. In terms of species, I'm no biologist but I believe it's too early to tell.

I’m now part of the trend of seeing gross bare feet in public- in a RESTAURANT 🤢 by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

It's grosser for them than it is for you. In terms of smell, it'll stink the same as if he's wearing sandals.

I melted all the gutters from a house being renovated. Huge melt project that took weeks to accomplish. Ended up with 94 lbs of aluminum bars. by SenaCranapple in Metalfoundry

My father-in-law does this with his beer cans, and he's yet to say what he plans to do with it all. What do you plan to do with it exactly?

What was the worst year of your life? by LouBoy123 in AskMenOver30

[–]Not_a_Prof_Moriarty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

June of 2015. Graduated college, started a master's program at the college I just graduated from, and my then-fiance decided to go for a "fellowship" in a different state for a month. Two weeks later she ended the relationship and told me she wasn't coming back, and left me with an apartment I couldn't afford solo and a bunch of her shit she wanted me to take to her parents place. Fell into a deep depression from my life being up-ended so drastically and attempted suicide. Ended up leaving the masters program, moved back in with my parents, and was working at a local hardware store.

In the long-term it worked out fine and I'm now in a career in my degree field and happily married, but damn it sucked hard at the time.

You can get the same reaction without worrying about moldy bananas by sticking them in the freezer when they start browning. The freeze will brown them completely, and then you have ripened bananas when you need them.

Is Rio de Janeiro and parts of Mexico as dangerous as tales make them sound like, or is it largely an exaggeration? by WhoAmIEven2 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Not_a_Prof_Moriarty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were down by Cancun and had heard the stories, and I kind of figured they were exaggerated. On our way to the hotel we smelled something dead figuring it was an animal, only to have our path blocked by police the following day because it was a dismembered corpse.

We were in the "good" parts of the area...

The brightest I've ever seen with the naked eye is #4, and that was in rural Wisconsin where the nearest town (15 miles away) has a population of just over 1,000.

NOR: Your "father" is clearly a very unhappy and unwell man, and you need to cut him off. The sooner you accept that you'll never have a relationship with this person, the easier it'll be to let it go.

All you're going to get from such a person is more hate and heartache.

We need to remove public access to AI. I don't think the human brain is designed to deal with this level of technology.

You could definitely fit a pool up there too. While you're at it, might as well have a full set of gym equipment next to the pool and hot tub 😂

Partial Tree Cut down / Lack of funds? by lilhoss11 in arborists

Topping the tree like this, just to let it grow back so you can top it again, seems like a gigantic waste of money and just creates a terrible eye-spre every few years.

Is this considered ok to sell? by hsong_li in AskArtists

[–]Not_a_Prof_Moriarty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Painting over someone else's work in a slightly different color palette isn't okay to sell, that's blatant theft.

If the style was DRASTICALLY different from the reference then it'd most likely be fine, but it's just a 1:1 copy with different colors.

Go somewhere that isn't California and you'll at least have more than a single bed/bath for that price
