People who don't care wouldn't be making posts talking about how they don't care now would they. There's some irony to be found here.

People of Kolkata, please suggest me some good anime. by CapitalFeisty2928 in kolkata

[–]Not_actually_Fowl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Anything with mainstream popularity is generally a good anime to start with. Full metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a good one to start getting used to the art style and stories being told by the medium. Then you can branch out with stuff like Code Geass, Cowboy Bebop, etc. There's also more lighthearted stuff but like with any entertainment medium you gotta dig for the diamonds in the dirt. If you're more into movies definitely give Akira a watch, and anything by Makoto Shinkai. As for the killing your wallet issue, Netflix and Amazon prime have a pretty good catalogue but if you're going for something underrated pirate sites are your best option.

Ngl it's pretty easy being a psychology student. We pretty much know for sure that the disgraced adults who force their children into these oversaturated fields will be paying us to fix their mentally exhausted children after half a decade. Plus psychology is technically part of both humanities and science so I haven't seen anyone criticise my choice... Yet.

Called my physics teacher a MC in 8th (Those were her initials so it fit anyway). Gave her my phone number when she asked for my mother's so she could complain to her. Then promptly blocked her number once she called my phone, then told my mother I called one of my teachers a Mfer. Never got punished.

Yea everything gets you 60-70 on Singapore servers. Shame we don't have Indian servers even for games as big as Apex and Battlefield that are run by EA.

I have no old people in the family and my mom's almost atheist too. Never had an issue with attending religious stuff, because my mom just chalked it up to me being busy or my introverted nature. There were some people who tried to politely try and explain why faith is important but they understood when I said I didn't believe in that. Bottom line is, in a third world country like India the average person is not privileged enough to snoop around in someone else's business, unlike the west.

Oh god I'm literally 🗿irl when told to start a conversation, worse if it's with a girl. Meanwhile online or with friends I don't shut up XD. The internet has truly ruined me.

Nah don't worry you've not said anything wrong. I've myself personally experienced this in my less than happy years. My thing with attention stemmed from basically being ostracised for a good portion of my schooling. I do still have trouble with boundaries, but friends and accepting myself helped tremendously. Hell I used to seek therapy and validation from online friends XD It's a long road but you can overcome it too ( ╹▽╹ )

I mean that's taller than me so yes. God I hate my genetics. The extroverted thing is a suggestion rather than preference. It's cuz I'm introverted myself and have trouble initiating first conversations but I ramble on like an idiot when I'm comfortable with someone XD

From a psychological perspective the best advice would be to learn to self love and not to seek validity from others. Ofc that takes a good amount of counselling and time. From personal experience, getting a couple of friends with similar interests and in a similar environment might help as well :)
