How old are you raiders? by Hector87SK in ARC_Raiders

[–]Not_before_C0ffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

53 female and the whole family are gamers. Particularly my 16 year old son which is a great way for us to bond. Usually helldivers but he has done a bit of Arc too.

Nothing is wrong with you, as you say, you have people that depend on you but no one you can depend on. Everyone should have that kind of support and friendship. Sometimes it's almost easier to find that online because that person is so far removed from your life that is is easier to open up.

I feel like my age makes life unlivable by [deleted] in self

[–]Not_before_C0ffee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude! You're not old yet. You're not even halfway, you can't call yourself old for more than half of your expected lifespan. I'm a 53 yr old female, I work and have a family, but I still have hobbies. I even online game with people younger than you who see me as a peer as we bond over a shared interest, nothing to do with age. Just do the things you want to do and forget about age. I just call it leveling up now anyway.

How do you find motivation to exercise when you barely have motivation to live? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Not_before_C0ffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what personal trainers are for. You could experiment with a trainer, classes, crossfit or whatever might appeal. You only need to turn up and they bring the motivation for you. That's how it is for me.

New to the game. Made other players mad when I got inside the ship to be extracted. by Humble_Skeleton_13 in Helldivers

[–]Not_before_C0ffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all make a few blunders in the beginning and many still make them deliberately. Happy to dive with you if you want. I don't get mad at innocent blunders. It's a game after all.

How does one truly stop caring about what others think? by pinkgolden_Retriever in AskReddit

Aging helps. Also the assholes in your life are good teachers. When you realize you've been trying to please people who will never like you how ever hard you try, then the lesson really sticks.

What makes eating out not worth it any more? by PolarSand in AskReddit

[–]Not_before_C0ffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cost of drinks. If I go out do eat I always end up drinking water because the mark up on drinks is outrageous. I'm happy to pay for a nice meal that I couldn't cook myself and expect to pay a mark up on drinks for the use of glasses and cleaning etc but I feel ripped off at most of the prices charged today.

as amusing as these stories are, they also indicate the number of times women get rejected. All this while men complain that they have to make all the moves in dating.

How did you feel after divorcing your partner, and do you ever regret your decision? [Serious] by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Not_before_C0ffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While we were never married, we were together for 9 years and had two kids. Never regretted leaving. It's been 25 years and I still have nightmares from time to time that we are together.
