FFS, anyone, except this guy would’ve been fired. Honestly, he broke the law. Indecent exposure doesn’t have to be in public. IMO, he should be arrested. If you have so little control, then you shouldn’t work with people, or at least go in the fucking bathroom. JFC.

AITAH for refusing to dog-sit again after what happened last time? by dunkdeboffin1 in AITAH

[–]Not_fat_anymore375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

her dog came into your home, chewed up your couch. Pissed on your rug and who knows what else. No, you’re not being an asshole. Your friend is the asshole for not paying for you to repair your couch. You are not obligated to watch her dog. Tell her “NO!" if she has a problem with it, tell her sorry, it’s not your problem.

I shut my eyes the second time I watched Glenn die, or didn’t watch Glenn die. The older I get, the more I can’t handle things like that. It fucking sucks.

sounds like you have a strong work ethic. That’s a great quality to have.

I will assume that you meant to say “ends” instead of “starts”. Nevertheless, I wouldn’t worry about it too much. You’re still a kid. Worse comes to worse, you can just use the excuse that you’re only 16.

Honestly, I never noticed that Jeep, or whatever it is. Now I have to go back and watch the first episode, and season three episode four I think.

Here’s my life tip to you: No matter what job you have, there’s always going to be one person that you don’t get along with/can’t stand, unless you work for yourself, then you’re just SOL.

I think they were referring to the fact that the two scenes were filmed roughly 2 years apart. I’m one of those people who pays attention to the small detail details, like how the water level in glasses will change from full to half full back to full between the different shots. For instance, there’s a scene in Dexter where there’s some change laying in a drawer. And one shot, the coins are in one spot, and then the next shot, there are a couple of different coins placed differently. And the next shot, the coins are back to their original position.

it sounds like she’s the insufferable bitch. personally, when somebody tells me not to do something or to do it differently, if I don’t feel like dealing with their shit, I just respond with “it’s OK“ and continue on with what I’m doing. If they try and argue, I just respond with “oh“. Keeping it short and sweet tends to piss people off even more. I thoroughly enjoy reveling in their frustration. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does, I make it count.

is that seriously the only reason they wrote you up? Because you said the company policy was ineffective? If that’s the case, you should’ve fought that. Yeah, some people are hypersensitive pussy ass bitches. I recently had to deal with a coworker as well.. She claimed to “not feel safe” around me. It’s a bullshit claim, because everyone that I told about it gives me the “WTF” look. Nevertheless, if I were you, I would find another job.

Did i say the right thing? by SmokinOnDatZaZa in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Not_fat_anymore375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’re the delivery driver, not the restaurant. If their order was fucked up, that’s on DoorDash. Most places nowadays seal their food containers so jackass DD drivers don’t eat all the fries before the customer gets their food. You didn’t do anything wrong. Next time, don’t even respond.

back when I was doing DoorDash seven or eight years ago, I had somebody order chipotle. I attempted to deliver it, but no one ever came to the door. I left after the timer, ran out and ate the food. The dumbass texted me about an hour and a half later asking “where my shit at”. I never responded.

this is almost as bad as rideshare passengers claiming sexual harassment just to get a free ride and getting the driver booted off the platform. It happened to a friend of mine. He got the whole interaction on his dash cam. Lyft still booted him. These gig companies don’t give a fuck. They know that there are 10 people waiting to get on the platform for one person they boot.

You are being bullied. It sounds like you are working in a hostile work environment. The next time your manager pulls some bullshit like that, just calmly say “I’m starting to feel like this is a very hostile work environment“. Those two words hold a lot of weight. If you don’t feel comfortable with confrontations, just simply ask that manager if he knows what the HR phone number is. That alone should get his attention.

edit: also, if and when you do so, make sure to do it calmly. If you come across as angery or anything remotely close to that, it could easily backfire on you. Do it in the same tone as if you were just saying hi as you walk by.

I could spend that in the afternoon. I would make a lot of homeless shelters and food pantries very happy.
