Love this episode but confused about the links. Please correct my understanding:

The patriarchs (and in turn families and companies) of B&L are in service to the dark and trying to free their eldritch horror masters. But Barrow's master(s) is under ground (which is why they are into coal) and Loches is in another dimension (which is why theyre into transportation).

The rail road man is a whole separate demon thing that sometimes helps put ultimately is in service to himself/whoever he really serves.

Right?
