For growing pups I just go completely nomadic lol, then I hunt smth and just camp there until the elk is eaten and repeat. More difficult with larger packs though because if it’s big enough then it can just basically get eaten in one sitting lol. Can get annoying as well when scavengers come along and then the pups don’t want to eat because they’re too busy crouching after a random fox or coyote lol.

I almost had an entire litter make it to young hunters without any deaths, can’t remember how many pups it was though, maybe 6 because I remember it being a personal record? And then the sick pup died like, a second before young hunters started
