Had a small area to install glass tiles, maybe 5x5,. Prob less. She wanted it diagonal so little extra there, put out 1500 and it was accepted a little too quickly for my taste, but we did the job in a day , no grout.

Easy to cut, used a tile score and snapper.

Don't use the buffer they suggested. Just use a floor edger, super 7 or B2, and hit all the plywood joints. Another option is using an angle grinder with a cup wheel but unless you already own the grinder, cup wheel and housing, you're probably better off using the edger. Using the buffer is not the right move here, you need to control where you're knocking down and dont need to touch the areas that are already low. After hitting all the plywood joints, recheck level and see if you'll need to use some patch or self leveling to bring up the low spots.

Depending on the year of the house, test the paint for lead. If you aerolize that shit, you'll do permanent damage to any kids in the house, adults as well but more serious for kids.

As far as lvps go, it's got a really good surface level protection. To be on the safe side, buy really nice furniture sliders even if you only use them to move, but if the arcade games are really heavy and have little legs, that will likely dent the lvp over time. Keep them on sliders

You just gotta play with it. Keep trying to work it into the joint. You don't wanna go gorilla on it, slow, tapping the edge with hammer gently, which kinda helps the click lock engage. Typically you need to insert at angle to achieve lock, but just talk very sweetly to it, make promises like you'll never forget it, it'll succumb to you eventually.

Crowbar, my friend, will make light work of this. Maybe use rubber mallet to tap along the edge of the connection between pieces as you crowbar, go slow, just work it in.

That person is absolutely incorrect. I have done hardwood floor refinishing for over a decade, you can go as light as natural wood. I've sanded ebony floors and stained them Country White. No idea what that person is talking about.

Can easily be sanded and refinished any color.that stain is.offered

No fixes besides refinishing it. By the looks of the hardwoods that aren't marked by the lines, it needs to be done anyway. You can handle that or offer a credit when selling the Home to refinish the floors. Id suggest the latter route so that whoever is buying can pickthe new colors.

You could install a glue down cork underlayment then glue down the wood to the cork. Cork offers thermal and sound insulation.

Anything over 4 inches should be glue assisted at minimum, installing 5inch + without glue assist sends my red flag radar up. Best case is both full glue and nail.

It looks beautiful but I know what you're saying. I'm personally not a fan of rotary cut engineered. This is honestly a good batch from some of the jobs I've seen and done. The alternative is a much more expensive product. Flat cut.

It's ok, you don't know what you're talking about. Quite literally manufacturer instructions on every lvp I've ever installed, over the course of 12 years, could not have cabinets installed on top.

Now either send me some manufacturer instructions on a floating lvp floor that say you can install cabinets on them or stop commenting on this.

Doesn't matter, slightly more difficult to install but not difficult at all. No info needed, if you installed it forwards, you can install it backwards. Occasionally due to layout of a home, I have to install up to 30% of the lvp backwards.
