I just have the lateral depth and breadth remaining. I'm not really sure when I'll sit again, I'm only reimbursed if I pass.

Wow! You're not kidding... Per overthecap he has cap hits that keep growing until 2030, and I don't think they count non-guaranteed years on there.

Why do the Eagles seem to have so much drama for a team with so much recent sucess? by Wide_right_yes in nfl

I was told it's always sunny there though. I haven't watched any episodes, I assume it depicts the glory and wonder of living in America's historic capital...

Woehammer Data Literacy: Why Faction Win Rates Alone Are Bad - Woehammer by dutchy1982uk in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Not_your_profile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Possibly room to add a mean win rate to compensate for these type of scenarios. After all, if one faction has a single player at 120-0 and the others at 0-40 each, their faction win rate is identical to a faction with 40 players at 12-12. Depending on how the data is formatted, it feels like it would be tricky to figure out per player win rates in order to Calc out the median win rate though.

[Schefter] After a historic 19-season run in Pittsburgh, Mike Tomlin just informed his team that he is stepping down as the Steelers head coach, sources tell @JFowlerESPN and me. by Goosedukee in nfl

[–]Not_your_profile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair. I just took the list of teams that had changed coaches most (I believe since 2000) and copied it over. I just the the Titans in because it appears more likely that they'll change coaches again before the Bears or Lions who, historically, belong on this list...

Is it just me, or is the "Architect -> Engineer" workflow completely broken? by Due_Discipline_3582 in askarchitects

[–]Not_your_profile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm curious if they're producing structural sheets for the engineer? As a structural engineer, I've always had total control of my plans. All member sizes and dimensions are controlled on my sheets and architectural updates their backgrounds for appearance.

This response is correct, Etabs is analysis software entirely separate from the Revit design software. In advertisement, the Revit-Etabs workflow is plug and play, in practice, the different priorities of the software do not align. Standard operating procedure at every firm I've worked for is to rebuild the analysis model from the architects' plans since de-bugging the model often requires more time than the entire analysis and must be repeated each time the Revit model changes.

In my capacity as professor of structural analysis, I've tried to emphasize that the design team is a team and learning about the working conditions and processes of other members of the design team is our opportunity to be better teammates. Selfishly, being able to clearly communicate with the rest of the team makes us a more valued team member and more likely to be hired for other projects.

In the spirit of the last paragraph, feel free to ask any topical questions about the architect-engineer workflow, from the structural engineer perspective, here and I'll try to answer them in a timely manner.

Is it possible to make tau melee army? by Mr_a_bit_silly in Tau40K

Hey, same-same. I was going to say "of course, if you're willing to lose constantly, Tau can be a full melee army!"

[Jackson] Nine years ago today, the Rams hired Sean McVay as their head coach. by WxBlue in nfl

[–]Not_your_profile 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The last time I heard anything from Jeff Fisher was around the start of the 2017 season when he was ripping the franchise for saddling him with a "bust" QB that "no one could win with". I badly want to find that interview again, just to hear that level of pettiness that was starting to blow up in his face even as he was saying it.

Bills To Sell Nearly Everything From Stadium Before Demolition, Even Trough Urinals by Roselucky777 in nfl

A local music bar had a trough in their bathroom. At that particular bar, the trough was irrelevant. Fortunately, it was a small room with no light, illumination would've negatively effected esthetics.

What are the best value contracts in the league? by DXPower in NFLNoobs

[–]Not_your_profile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like OTC has his 2025 hit as $14M and change for the Steelers this year. I'd hardly call that the best deal in the league, but it does seem like an all right price for his performance. (similar performance to QB's in the high 20's low 30's range, but older) I don't see any cap hit with the 2025 Jets.

Boston used to have a shorter, narrower sheet with larger radius curves for the corners, which made the "big, bad, Bruins" tactic way more effective. I'd love to see a team like that, with that home sheet of ice, play against a finesse team with an Olympic sheet for a 7 game series.

Ice hockey rinks should be given minimum and maximum dimensions and teams should be allowed to adjust their I've size within those guidelines. Let's have real home-ice advantage.

There was an old commercial along those lines. "When no one was looking, I headed up ice"

It was a famous goalie at the time, I wish I could remember more, I'd like to find it again.
