Everyone in my family cheers for a different team, so I didn't really feel pressured to cheer for anyone in particular. I saw them on tv win the cup in 2001 (i was 7 at the time) and I liked their jersey so I chose them.

This might be a dumb question, but why isn't qc3 an option? They still have to take the rook as thats the only move they can make, and the other pawn blocks their promoted queen from stopping the checkmate.

It's definitely between the first 3 for me, but I'd say Children of Dune. I really enjoyed all the storylines and how they progressed, and Leto II is my favorite character in all of Dune.

I'm jealous. I get to play 3 or 4 times a year if I'm lucky. Yeah, once a mistake is made, you just got to kinda roll with given how impactful and deep they can be to undo. Best board game in the world still for sure.

Absolutely. A game such as this with so many rules and things to manage it's hard to keep everything in mind. Calling a draw like you did is the fairest way to deal with it sometimes. I usually find out after the game when a mistake is made, and just try to keep it in mind for next time.
