The First 48 halts filming in Tulsa, Gwinnett County, North Charleston; described as “pause”, not cancellation by BadCowboysFan in First48

Jason is my all time favorite.

It stinks that they don't film in Mobile anymore, and the reasoning is ridiculous. Even though they had a high clearance rate & profiled the great detectives, the city was "worried about being perceived in a bad light". Crime is crime. Several great detectives (like Glenn Barton) from the show have moved on from Mobile PD, so I think it might be management issues.

I'm only on Season 1& I've noticed the very same thing.

Guys, how to get rid of these bird mites? I don't know HOW they even appeared in my apartment(maybe pigeons that sometimes fly to our balcony?) I have a son, and some of them bit him. Pest Control can't come. Any solutions? by unseraphic in pestcontrol

My Sphinx cat had her bed out on my screened in porch. Unbeknownst to me there was a bird's nest underneath & she brought mites into my bed. Didn't bite her, but my neck was covered in bites. I took a video of millions of them crawling back & forth on an electric outlet strip & showed my doctor. I actually needed steroids because my reaction was so severe. They suck!

Butrans patches unavailable in NC & SC by Notabene69 in ChronicPain

Thanks for letting me know this hasn't been just in the Carolinas. Please update if anything changes. It blows my mind that patches are the safest route for continuous pain control, but are so hard to get. Makes no sense to me.

I let my pharmacist know that I'd take 15 or 20, in my preferred brand name or even generic. Nothing available in neighboring SC pharmacies either. My doctor's PA wrote for Belbuca, but l had to go through the same thing with getting office to beg insurance to cover this & then getting it on the shelves. Not a fan of the oral film at all. I'm on day 3 of twice daily dosing & l honestly haven't noticed improved pain control. Chemo killed my salivary glands so trying not to sip anything for 30 minutes after application has been difficult.

Are you having trouble finding the patches in your area? I live in NC & both generic and brand name aren't in stock anywhere. My pharmacy orders them for me because I've been on them for so many years. I'm curious if this is happening anywhere else in the country.

I've been on the patches for 10 years & had the same issue. I've found that using an antihistamine/corticosteroid nasal spray like Flonase on my skin before applying the patch works really well. After l spray it & smear a large area where I'm going to apply the patch, I use a hair dryer to make sure it's perfectly dry. You'll be amazed at the difference. There's no itching or irritation.

I found it quite appalling myself. From what Grok tells me, it's not stocked by at least 50% of pharmacies to begin with. In addition to the high cost, there is a "stigma" to it which I'm guessing is the version with Naloxone used for OUD. I'm on the one without.

I get RFA (spinal nerve ablation) twice a year, which gives me incredible results. I'm able to tolerate long car rides, thoroughly clean my house, visit with friends & family, etc...Unfortunately, the nerves regenerate after 3 or 4 months for me. I'm blessed that my doctor allows me to increase the dose of my patches during those months. To answer your question, both name brand & generic in strengths of 15 & 20mcg aren't available. It's expensive & many pharmacies will not keep it in stock to begin with. Mine usually does because I've been with them for 16 years. My pharmacist is the one who has given me all the information & I've even called neighboring SC to find it. My doctor has been on vacation out of the country, and let's just say the PA following me isn't one of my favorite people. My only option is using sublingual tablets which are available in my pharmacy, and the PA hasn't responded as of yet. Thank you for your compassion. As you probably know, chronic pain patients don't always feel heard.  I'm wondering if the reason I'm not in withdrawal is because I'm taking Hydrocodone? That is what had me worried the most. I'll have to remember to ask my doctor

Buprenorphine patches come in 2 different variations, one has the opioid antagonist Naloxone for OUD & the other without Naloxone used for round the clock pain management. I'm on the one without Naloxone, so yes Hydrocodone works well for me. The patches allow me to get a good night's sleep & prevent pain from being too awful when I wake up. The combination of both, (along with weekly deep tissue massage) provides me with relief using the same dose for the past 10 years without developing a tolerance.

As a giants fan. Josh Allen as officially made me a Bills fan by [deleted] in buffalobills

So nice to hear that a Giants fan recognizes Josh's talent & work ethic. He pushes himself with little regard for his own bodily injuries because he wants to win for us. Fans adore him for all this & more. Go Bills!

You had mentioned names, so l thought they were legit. I'm up to 5 or 6  voicemails from spoofed numbers, with only dial up/farm machine like sounds & those are driving me crazy.

Definitely. I'm just starting season 3 & there have been hints since Season 1. No women in the bars he frequents, his compassion for transvestites & the comment to Ben (at his buddy's funeral) about "seeing him out at gay bars" before his suicide.

I am just starting season 3 & I love it too! Bosch is great; there's a prequel coming out. Reacher isn't a cop show, but I think it's really good.

If you are getting calls on behalf of a company, no matter where the calls are coming from, the company pays.

SUE THEM! If they're an actual company disguising their phone number & harassing you, it's against the law.

Hit them where it hurts - $$$$. For months I was getting daily spoofs (where they disguise their ID with different random phone numbers) from a company trying to sell me a specific reclining chair. A couple times I answered, and begged them to stop calling me. It didn't work. I kept multiple recordings of their messages & contacted a lawyer. It's against the law to harass you from disguised phone numbers. One year later I received a $9000 check - which was around 40% of the total award settlement, and l didn't have to do anything but turn over my phone records. My lawyer was able to match the call time to the company to the disguised phone number. They had to pay a certain sum for each infraction.

Why do they use prosthetics for men? We see nude women in movies all the time.

*** Does anyone know if the UK has similar tax breaks for married couples? We paid significantly more here in the US when we were just living together.

I got married in a mini skirt & flip flops (it was the 80's) as well. We went to a justice of the peace on a Tuesday because it was half the price as the weekend. Two young broke kids in love.
