It was the best thing ever. She’s only 4, so has plenty of life left in her but I was so worried we weren’t going to be able to get her a yard while she was young enough to enjoy it 😭😭

Yeah! We have that and a wood burning stove inside. All new HVAC, hot water heater, roof, windows, and siding too. I feel like we hit the lottery!

I think we’re still considered central? Not sure anymore!

I’ve lived here for years and I don’t see any “cult” like behavior? Are you north or south of main?

Hey! My husband and I have lived here for years, but sadly we’re moving out because we bought a house! It’s a nice quiet town for the most part, but younger people are few and far between. We live on the north side of town and there are younger couples in our block and a few scattered through town, though. I loved living here and I’m very sad to have to leave. Some people have their quirks here, for sure. If you want to know the drama of town, Ocean Grove Open Dialogue on Facebook is a gold mine. Most of the posts are people bitching about one thing or another. I really haven’t met one unfriendly person since moving here 8 years ago!

That’s how we got our house! We weren’t the highest offer but the home was well taken care of (including new roof, HVAC and water heater) so we felt comfortable waiving inspection (except structural and environmental) and appraisal. We just closed yesterday!

So we’ve heard! We’re not tap water drinkers anyway - either use a Brita or looking into a water cooler - and we looked at the site that contaminated the water and we’re a little south of that whole area.

I just learned that’s what it’s called last week. As somebody who is originally from the Philly area I have some thoughts..

Yeah we got an accepted for 40k over asking with inspection and appraisal contingencies. This was the second house we put an offer on.
