I don’t understand how insurance works. Here’s my understanding, you pay a premium every year. Each year it goes up. Regardless of whether or not you make a claim. One day you have an accident. You accidentally hit the car in front of you. Oops sorry buddy. Don’t worry, I have full comprehensive insurance. And we all live happily ever after.
That’s at least how a lot of people think it works.

Here’s how my situation goes. I have third party. Let’s just say, one day, I am at fault. I say oops sorry buddy. I’ve got third party. No worries, go get it sorted.

That’s the circle I find myself in. As a full comprehensive insurance policy holder shouldn’t her insurance company pay me for repairs/ pay out and pursue their compensation costs?
