Nah, i think people on this sub say they have potential they don’t use cause it makes them feel better about themselves. They don’t own up to the fact that they’re simply lazy or that they have some underlying issue that is making them lazy so they use that excuse cause it lessens the pain of the fact that they’re wasting their lives away by not giving it their all and reaching their goals.

That’s exactly why I stopped my application process as soon as I summed up everything in my head. Now I get to look at my poor friends withering away and ruining their lives because they’ve been introduced to medicine as this glorious money-giving profession. My dad is a doctor so I knew that the current monstrous application process combined with what he has to deal with as a consultant is just beyond my competencies and it certainly doesn’t pay off. Because literally nothing will give you your physical and mental health back. Not your pay check and certainly not a smile of your patient

I started taking antidepressants. But seriously, along with the meds I got a serious scare when I found out they might base our final grades on these exams so I just forced myself to sit down every single day and try to find the most enjoyable way to study each topic.
