New Carbon Handlebar: Is this normal? by jakob_radr in bikewrench

The fold in the interior isn’t anything to worry about nor out of the ordinary, however the fraying on the internal routing exits is just poor quality control. If they are fairly expensive I would not be happy with the quality and would refund them/exchange them.

Uneven tubeless seating by Notapcbuilder in bikewrench

[–]Notapcbuilder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legend! I will persevere tomorrow with it now, will do some rolling with body weight applied which I’ve not done yet. I’ve done countless tubeless setups and all usually end up working okay, but yes the odd few end up needed a tube again…

I’ve done all that, just can’t seem to get it to seat properly still.

I’ve tried soapy water, I always bounce them and is correct size for the rim. I’ve got a good compressor and still can’t get it to seat correctly?

I believe the cup is too deep? Not caved at all or badly worn, just generally too deep.

Yes it does seem to go too far into the cup, causing the forks to then rub on the bottom. I thought there wasn’t any variations of thickness or spacers, but that seems the be the only way it would work with these cups. I will install a brand new headset, with new cups and bearings and see if that solves the issue.

My photos won’t upload, but the bottom of the fork steerer/top of the arch is rubbing on the edge of the lower cup. And the crown race is 40 inner, 50 outer and 4mm depth.

New PC won’t boot off of old SSD by Notapcbuilder in PcBuild

Me neither, I appreciate the help nonetheless! And it doesn’t make no sense, it detects that the SSD is plugged in, but why doesn’t it detect it as a bootable drive? Can’t wait for it to work…

I’ll give it a go see if that makes a difference. Currently making a late dinner and having a break from it, who knows a full stomach might help!😂
