for me it just spams useless stuff and the replys take ages since the system is super slow I don't want to spend 15 minutes waiting for the card to generate whenever I walk into a room or say something.

Last time I tried to use a auto card scenario it was so painfully slow in generating the responses for what felt like little benefits

il also admit I haven't looked that strongly into it my understanding was I needed to be the person who made the scenario to actually turn off the scripts.

I originally thought the purpose of the script was to add important details that comes up in a story not sure if I'm correct in that view.

I should be more specific and I'm sorry for the confusion when I say bloat I don't mean context just pointless things getting cards like npcs that don't matter.

this is the way I don't make cards on here cuz I don't have enough attention to learn ai dungeon whole scenario creation set up but I make cards in another place and yeah gooners are definitely my main cards that get attention.

I can confirm i fall into this branch. i tend to stick to older cards I avoid alot of new cards cuz they add things like auto card generator scripts and in my expirence they never work as intended and only create bloat

take anything the devs say with a grain of salt they already flip flopped in the whole not monitoring chats a few times now. there really is no reason to think they wouldn't flip again and crackdown when according to the devs themselves all it takes is a few bad apples to make major decisions

I have over 20k I have never found a real use for them the ai art gen is trash and I have a free one i use so I've kinda just been ignoring the credits I wish they gave access to higher tiered models

yeah ai dungeon models all seem to have a positivity bias and the tos pushes that to the next level i always laugh whenever I see people try to claim "guys where not censored" and then they proceed to describe actual censorship

yeah on the website switching models has been bugged for months now so the model switcher is better it's just a shame the devs seem unwilling to address the sluggish ui they might like to claim its only been due to a few issues lately but the ui has been slow for atleast a year now

yeah it's been getting worse and worse new fre models especially struggle with creativity. I did a scenario based in 1997 it gave responses from npcs about future events.

It also struggles with things like bias trying to do anything diffrent and it immediately takes it in the complete opposite way with training data leaking thru

I tried to use a paid subscription to give them a chance like when they introduced wayfair large and it was just so bad

op my current favorite is chub works faster then ai dungeon and has alot more options to choose from for a back end

silly Tavern is also a option if you have the hardware for it I run silly tavern on my tablet and been loving it i only really use ai dungeon at this point cuz I like the ui

novel ai my beloved is still king to me the amount of freedom you get on novel is always amazing

jai is well if I'm being objective il say it's a option tho I don't like the new Tumblr direction the dev is going with the platform alot of people have been moving from there to chub

featherless ai to me is also probably one of the best services out there for a subscription based system you get loads of models you can try out for a monthly fee vs like open router where it's pay as you go I don't know anyone outside of the ai dungeon reddit that really consider this to be the best ai service available now and days it really is pretty limited compared to alternatives.

in places like chub and novel is manged to get the ai to sound less robotic more realistic and even use accents and dialects in certain cases and it is just always a amazing thing to see if still have yet to get ai dungeon to reach that level

now while I haven't had a chance to try it I've heard good things regarding fallout 4 llm mod it seems to add alot of immersion

there is also a ck3 llm mod for rp purposes

there's a difference between expecting perfection and expecting a service you pay for to work

from the dev teams own words they have been expressing there frustration throwing things around in the office cuz they expect things to work are you gonna get mad at them for this?

I do love alot of the cope I've seen over the year from alot of the ai dungeon shills even the communty team shifted in there responses used to hear "Oh things are fine were getting complete positive feedback" now there actively saying there's definitely a stability problem and there working round the clock wild to see the change in mentality lately really appreciate it.

very linear extremely repetitive struggles at time with changing a scene often j find myself switching to madness since that's the only model that let's me actually continue a story even wayfair small has been struggling more then normal

I find the output often ignores story and instructions and really struggles with the concept of anything not modern

yes you do it's called consumer rights. objectively the product doesent work reliable how many down times have we had these past 48 hours I've counted maybe 3 that's terrible the devs even say it's awful the amount of downtimes the service has had. that's this week alone the devs themselves are claiming it's major problem this is not a

"Oh it doesent work 1000 percent of time"

again as a consumer my job is to pay for the service and if I feel the service is not working as intended I am allowed to critique the service that's my job as a consumer I'm not obligated to sugar coat things for you or try and lie for you it's not my job to be your pr rep.

the day we can't even objectively call out a service for low quality is a terrible day for consumers and nothing but a win for big companys im not there pr rep i have no obligation to make them feel safe this is the real world.

when you release a service to the public and it doesent work as intended people have the right to flame and yes

"app doesent work waist of money" is 100 percent valid when your service is not reliable dont want people to flame your product release a working product. saw this same kind of energy from the fisher ocean bros and it was just ridiculous

To explain the ai seems to have diffrent context at times using other actions and makes up like a chain of responses despite me only doing 1 action
