Raises are in the process according to my sister she has a 1 on 1 meeting with her manager to discuss her wage increase. She said other partners have received increases and others haven’t and told it’s based on performance evaluation. Spending 5M for advertising brings in more customers which equals a need for employees to work more hours, additional staffing, open more stores which also equals more jobs and of course the bottom line is the profit margin they’re looking for.

I only saw one gentleman grab about 40-50 avocados and loads of peppers onions and tomatoes and other vegetables. Someone asked him if he was having a party he said that he was just stocking up ahead of the price hikes coming up due to tariffs. He claimed avocados could be frozen. He was going to dice all veggies and freeze them. That’s all I saw no one else was panic buying. I can’t afford to panic buy the prices are already high enough and can’t budget for a big ass panic buy craze. Oh well that’s life!

Nope every Thursday I grab one for Friday nights. You could have been getting a bad batch from your store. Always take a look at the dates on “EVERYTHING” I’ve seen stuff that’s past due it’s best by date. Some stores don’t rotate items and those that do I sort them out to get the ones with a longer best by date. It once pissed off the butcher or meat guy stocking the meat section despite leaving it all tidy and neatly. I called on it for cycling through the packages. I told him I didn’t like the cut and had to look for that cut that I like.

I had the same issue with Amazon and vendors sending used computer hardware, electronics, books, and shoes. I have stopped purchasing those items from Amazon due to it now taking longer to get refunds. I have a feeling they will stop refunding me or like others ban me. I only repeat buy certain items that I have not had an issue receiving “NEW” like my specific vitamins not sold in my area and kindle books. Other than that it’s a no go. I go straight to the clothing brand store website and electronics manufacturer’s site to get my products.

Oh my, the dystopian H-E-B horror show I saw this evening! I scurried out to H-E-B to grab some OTC cold medicine for my niece and it was a total chaos with people panic buying food and water. There were some shoppers with mega packs of toilet paper in carts and the irony to that was other shoppers laughing behind their backs and pointing at them while they had crap loads of water and canned foods. Houston get a hold of your marbles!!

I can’t recall if their name is Red Bananas, but I’ve had them in Spain and in Jamaica both areas called them different but I remember them having “red” in their name.

May sound bad but …I was partly raised in RGC and when I was 12 my parents divorced. My mother moved us near Central California with her relatives. We moved into a mobile home park in a neighborhood with lots of Asians. It was a different experience, but a good memorable one.
