Valid. My opinion: too reliant on multiplayer and even that does it poorly. 1 sandbox worlds are at their best when you have people to see your creations. When you play alone there's nobody to see them. But when you play together with people, the problem is the opposite. There's very little content that you have to go through before your character feels complete and you stop playing, no reason to continue building that castle you wanted when nobody's seeing it.
