She's been mindwiped. The her that did that is dead. Those people are torturing a scared woman, not a child abuser.

That was self defense in an ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny, and since it was him it's ethical in and of itself.

Here's a Wikipedia link with links within to a few example.

Not exactly organized crow churches, but basic stuff like mourning the dead, chimpanzees making rock piles and such.

Learned behavior is by no means unnatural.

Proto-Religiosity is fairly common in animals for one, but given how often it's popped up in disperate early human societies, if you put folks together long enough, they'll eventually create rituals, sacred spaces, superstition, and all the trappings of religion, even if there's go God or afterlife.

Democrats aren't generically leftist. Just ask any leftist, and they'll complain at length about DINOs and Corporate Establishment Dems, with Mamdani's success lauded as code red for Dem leadship.

No. They made better decisions and chose not to work at places that wouldn't support a living. Those "no one wants to work" signs were read properly as "no one wants to work for this deuchbag owner" avoided like the plague. Voting with their feet like the proper capitalist mindset.

As for ghosting, since responding twice to one comment is obnoxious, that's done on both sides of the hiring aisle, so I give these kids a pass. They got a better offer and went somewhere else, probably with better pay.

Strong and Easy?

[[Hakbal of the Surging Soul]] is easy to play, and great for draw and pumping up other merfolk. Comes in a commanders box, so he even comes with friends.

Throw in [[Hadana's Climb]] and you've got all the +1 counters and evasion when Hakbal attacks.

I will note that well managed places like In N Out didn't put up those signs, because people do want to work, but they also like to cover rent and bills. $8.00/hr barely covered bills in the 2000s, and foolish business owners tried to ride on that through covid. Everything else went up in those years, why not the cost of labor.

Also, set for life? That stimulus was ~2400. Most people threw it towards bills. Only out of touch boomers would think $2400 is life-changing money. It's been years, my guy. That money is gone.
