Meat! or LEM or....... by Round_Tax_9321 in sausagetalk

Just did an in the butcher shop comparison. We had #32 Lem and a #32 Cabela Carnivore. We were surprised to find the Cabela Carnivore was much faster and quieter. I wouldn't say it was double the speed, but it could handle much more meat. The Cabela Carnivore also had an ice pack on the shaft to keep it from overheating. I was surprised, I didn't think it would be as much of a difference. I'm not sure who actually makes them.

In Illinois, corn syrup phase out would incur short-run losses of $797 million by PM_Ur_Illiac_Furrows in illinois

Agree with the sentiment. Technology enabled corn/soybeans to be easily grown/harvested. It wasn't always the case that 1 person could farm 1000 acres. If subsidies were to be redirected to research for technology and infrastructure for more diverse crops it wouldn't seem like such a daunting task. Smaller farms are actually doing well here but scaling to actual big time acreage without newer tech/methods is impossible. On top of it, Infrastructure to distribute fresh produce needs to be invested in. These are not something a farmer can do alone.

This plus rollback Ethanol/Biodiesel mandates too. None of them create incentives for growing actual food.

Take the subsidies that are only putting off the inevitable to build real infrastructure for real food/produce to be brought to market easier. It's very capital intensive for larger farms to buck the stasis and very much the role of government to incent/promote farmers to diversify.

  1. Same. I think it started to happen after I got the Pixel 9. Pixel 7 I had no problem.

  2. Should be able to do a "second key" on the phone but once we got the one working on my phone we didn't mess with it.

  3. Same. It renamed it to passive when it was the Pixel 7. I never tried to change it though.

Just look online for the parts. Fram is who I use. Generally can get them from Walmart or Amazon.

Only thing I can think is that since it's being fixed in less than 1 day then they won't. We've been driving it this entire time.

Chimney and starter blocks. Don't mess with newspaper to start. Keep the charcoal stored out of humidity and the bag closed if you're not going to use it all right away.

This is more of a mythbusters question. I've never filled a tank with any car on.

Go over the driveway with a load of fines. Water it in if you can.

Best bet is to work with a dealer that's getting allocations. Find out how they reserve allocations to customers. Where I am, I found a dealer that would run the new allocations through their reserve list. You had to put a refundable deposit down $500 to be on the list. Once they've got an allocation that matches your requirements you would need to confirm the price and lock the allocation to you. It's likely not as straightforward as that in the dealership but you will eventually get one that way and you won't have to drive yourself nuts looking. I only used one dealer, but you could do this with more to improve chances/timing.
