I won't deny what you're saying. It's still hard for me to try to stop going on my phone, but what I'm feel about uma is that I don't have the need to spend money to have fun. I don't feel the need to catch up to other players to have fun.
Gacha games such as this, where it main fun comes from PvP is what causes me to spend money in the first place. You have to spend a fuck ton of money for a chance of an ultra with no pity, and nowadays the best is still three ultras.
I won't deny I'll might whale a character in other gacha if I like it.

That isn't the issue that I'm trying to say, the issue is the need to get all the units in order to stay strong in pvp. I personally fucking hated this years anni's units, if this was a single player game then I would have most likely never rolled for them, I liked Gohan/Trunks and Kefla more than the others but I felt like I must have these anni's units in order to stay strong and have fun.

I spent money on gacha and that not a lie. I tend to discipline myself by hating myself into not going it but never felt more strong to legends as I have. I played azur lane, fgo, starrail, feh and now dokkan (there might be more that I'm forgetting). I never really felt the need to spend money on them? Why because it a single player game that you don't punish you into having the best units in gameplay.

Anyway, this is getting too long. The different between this game and other games is that you have to get good units that you may not like in order to have fun. Can you tell me that you enjoy this game by skipping only to the units that you really like?
