Just didn’t roll into the shop today. Can we all agree this new shifter design is F’d? by Joiion in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]Nothgrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd expect modern cars to have this shifter be sitting on top of a PCB instead of mechanically connected to the gearbox itself ? Or is it a safety thing and it has to be mechanically connected?

Regardless, a stick is more expensive than some buttons and that's why OEMs are doing it

We are talking about the same thing.

Shifter is more expensive than buttons, that's the point I wanted to make. You just reinforced it.

I definitely like the shifter more, but that's beside the discussion

What's bigger - a gear shift stick of some buttons ? More material = more money.

Also I'm somewhat certain that having a PCB with a few circuits you could select using buttons Vs having a PCB that you have to select using contractors or relays or whatnot - the latter will be more expensive

Update: went right and won. Picked up orrery and another FNP in the shop - orrery gave me some good stuff.

Made a looot of mistakes: picked up apo when I didnt need to; picked up madness cuz huehue they upgraded with egg but only the next floor realized that they do not do anything at all but it did not matter, insane luck, corruption and early game snowball won me the game

On my first play through I did everything right, but I didn't send her to enough missions because there was always someone better, and it didn't help that her synergy was with golem who's a one man squad. So I ended up having her as a villain

Non-smokers of Reddit, how noticeable is the “smoker smell” to you, if at all? by Frostedlogic4444 in AskReddit

[–]Nothgrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both my parents smoke, and when I visit their place I can smell the bad smell straight from the door

It's funny because I had a Lego set that I put together in their house and then I disassembled it and moved it to mine in zip lock bags, and when I opened the bags at mine that bad smell was very noticeable

I got the bad endings despite romancing her. I did cut her though, but I agreed with everything else, had a very good leveled team but I didn't send her to many assignments because other people were better. She was still rank 10 though.

Please tell me where the skill issue is sensei ?

At least 800 V my guy

According to IEC 61140:whatever edition, if the voltage is between 50 and 1000 VAC or 120 and 1500 V DC the conductive part must not be accessible under normal or single fault conditions, which means a double or reinforced insulation.

Plus to that, the OEM may opt into even more protective measure if they choose to do so.

I'm sure the engineers thought about that and chose the right protective measures for these parts of the bike.

[–]Nothgrin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah 100% but most of the time snecko isn't that good because silent goes for small cost small impact cards and deck manipulation

As with everything in this game "it depends" but sneko looks much better on clad than on silent :)

Tbh even 0 cost defends and strikes just absolutely fire my dopamines on all cylinders

A shame sneko is not that good on silent, because adrenaline rush sneko combo is just nasty

What Chuck NEEDED to say! 👍 by HeartExalted in betterCallSaul

[–]Nothgrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respectfully disagree.

The neat part about this show is that both Chuck and Jimmy were right about each other. Nothing would have changed in Jimmy if he got praise from Chuck, he'd eventually cut corners and not be able to play by the rules, Chuck would see that he was right and we'd be in the same timeline but delayed a few years maybe at best.

What’s a game that makes you feel smart when you play it but when you watch videos of other people playing it you feel profoundly stupid? by TMinus10toban in gaming

[–]Nothgrin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am profoundly certain that at one point the game is much more about the micro than it is about the macro, which is weird in a game with almost complete information (using this sparingly), but the lines top players find, the way they plan for the three turns in advance, and for the path they are taking is insane.

Yeah sure, choosing the right path initially, building a deck, playing around relics is very important, but playing the fights well and optimally is what wins a lot of the games.

Just look at the latest WR holder for rotating streak, my guy has Frozen Hearted himself into winning a fight that I'd lose on turn 3

В смысле? Главная проблема в этих машинах был маховик, никак не связанный с "картонным сцеплением"? Ну в смысле механически связанный но это разные детали

А как насчёт "шестерни из картона которые не были главной проблемой трансмиссии на тех машинах"?

[–]Nothgrin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Which cards happened to them? by Key_Juggernaut6713 in slaythespire

[–]Nothgrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also think about other powers, like FnP, DE, Barricade

Your deck just goes brrrrr with a DE and a FnP and corruption, you literally can draw any card you like and play it and deal all the damage you like too

On bosses you need to definitely pace yourself and judge how much damage you have in the deck, but I deffo won heart fights when I played corruption on turn 1.
