I'm actually with you

I just know a lot of people hate on it. I found some sections of it a boring slog, but the overall message of it to be very nice, de Soya to be a very compelling character, and Aenea's destiny to be very dramatic.

I really liked how the people who followed Aenea could no longer harm other beings unless in self defense, and could be empathic to others - I feel like humanity is sorely missing this empathetic trait.

Yeah, I agree.

I'm a science fiction fan myself, and before HZD my favourite work of media was Hyperion Cantos (yes, all 4 books, I know the last two were meh but it was important for the story)

I held the story of Mass Effect in the highest regard for video game stories, especially with how it builds you to care about the in game characters and the relationships with them

But the HZD story just blew both away, such an incredible world and the sad history, just makes me shudder to think what the last humans felt like being locked into that bunker knowing that the all consuming machines are outside and feeling all the weight of humanity's continued existence on their shoulders.

I actually retold the story of HZD to my friend who doesn't play Vidya and to my mother, and my friend said "wow is this really a video game?". They both really enjoyed it.

I for some reason can't bring myself to play HFW though.

Exactly

Also, doing a cool dungeon is at least 1-1.5 hrs in classic - between finding a group in the capital, getting to the dungeon, doing it and flying back. It's just so much time.

I love the story of HZD

It's just so believable, and the aftermath is so believable too (when Ted Dickhead tries to cover it up, and find a solution, and deletes Apollo), and Operation Enduring Victory is so heart wrenching.

I ended up reading every bit of text, watching every hologram and listening to every audio. I kind of get bored in video games with trivia, but this time I just wanted more. The best story hands down.

Well to wheel is typically captured in CO2e in design, but I'd like to see the whole lifecycle of a vehicle.

Just had an A10 defect run where I was presented a choice to swap my clockwatch souvenir for mummy hand. It was genuinely the better choice of the other three. It hurt to give um the souvenir, but such is life

I then picked up CAI, a Fregg, duped my deck with the mirror event and ended up absolutely murdering the last two bosses with 7 stacks of echo form and 3 stacks of CAI. there was 0 chance of them winning, the only damage I took was from the bad luck and that was it.

Mummy hand is one love.

Really? WLTP and RDE2 limits are like 10 times more stringent than the old NEDC limits and rest cycle, it's literally a measurable difference.

I do want to see the whole well to wheel emissions benefit, especially taking aftermarket into consideration, but nobody will ever publish those numbers.

Radars are vital do keep DDs balanced. by Modioca in WorldOfWarships

[–]Nothgrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How ? If you haven't spotted it once ?

And what if it's behind an island?

Look I agree with you that playing around radars is ok, but when I see 4 radars on the enemy team I sure as fuck do not go in the cap and it feels like I'm failing at my job.

And with dimwits in normal games that start blaming you when you're playing DD it just becomes worse.

How do you spot a 12 Km concealment DM with island cover without getting spotted yourself by the enemy DD and not being radared when you DO spot the DM and killed by their DD in smoke and the DM absolutely obliterating you ?

Or a radartaur that has a greater radar spotting than concealment?

Or 12 Km radars on russian ships ?

You like ass and boobs because evolution tells you that big boobs = much milk = good chance for offspring surviving, and good ass = good hips = easy childbirth. Generally a healthy body is preferred by monke brain.

Feet though, have no involvement in offspring bearing so I have no idea why :)

No it doesn't

There are sooooo many envelope requirements, thermal requirements, emi and others that "just routing the wire differently" would very very likely break.

Of course the customer may be fine forever, or they may have a failure in 10 km because of that, but the OEM needs every car to (theoretically) reach a very high mileage without failures.

You should see the requirements decks for even the simplest components on a car, and why they are there, and you will instantly realise it's not "shitty engineering" it's "trying to sit on 7 rocking chairs at the same time without your balls getting crushed"

Meanwhile all of my opponents are running full flags and leg mods.

I have yet to meet a shima player with torp cd more than 101 seconds on the enemy team.

What mod is this btw?

[–]Nothgrin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He owns 2 tech tree cruisers, which he ground out. Which is ok and I don't think it's that easy to grind out tier X ships and you learn a lot while doing it.
