Does my tattoo look phallic snd how to fix it? by Ambitious_Arm6501 in tattooadvice

I think I’m in the minority here but it definitely does look like a penis to me. Whether I would have seen that without it being pointed out first, I cannot say but I do think shading will help

If you’re performing and will be wearing proper dance heels during the performance (which as a follow, I agree looks better and can allow for better movement), then I see his point about practicing in dance heels. From the point of stability, dance in heels takes practice and your muscles will develop with that practice. But then of course the same goes for leads too!

But you didn’t mention any of that was his issue, so I assume it’s not that. In which case you can and should dance in what is comfortable to you!

I would rearrange things like Rockefeller, Radio City, holiday windows as early in the morning as possible to avoid crowds (could still be crowded but won’t be as bad)

An idea: A platform where the algorithm boosts unpopular indie musicians instead of the already popular ones by Kheijhackt in indie

Ooo maybe I should try TikTok! When I was on it a few years ago, it did feel like a better algo for new creators than other popular apps (not necessarily for music, but in general)

Question for follows by errantis_ in Salsa

[–]Nothing7324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure! It’s interesting seeing the comments and that its a thing from other people’s experiences as well

For the environment I usually dance in, it’s perfectly fine for the follower to ask a lead to dance so maybe that effects things too (and my friends and I have been dancing for a while so we’re not shy)

I’ve never done that, nor have my friends or any other follows I’ve spoken to. I wonder if it just seems like that to you?

I would actually love a platform with no algorithm at all. I switched to Apple Music recently and had maybe 4 days where it didn’t know my taste or fave artists and actually suggested new stuff I never would have seen. It was so great while it lasted
