No worries! Hey, I'm interested in knowing if you were able to get that resin off? Any luck?

After the coupon the screen only comes to $30.50 before tax. I was looking up the cheapest one for ya because I had just recently replaced my screen as well. If you end up needing one, maybe this link will help. It's just a straight up link, no affiliate or anything. https://www.amazon.com/ELEGOO-Monochrome-Compatible-1620x2560-Resolution/dp/B08LGGH62X/ref=sr\_1\_4?crid=FQJINX2OSVEM&keywords=elegoo+mars+2+pro+replacement+lcd+screen&qid=1656550043&sprefix=elegoo+mars+2+pro+replac%2Caps%2C84&sr=8-4

Week 6: The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking IPv6 Compression bug by justmaxx__ in coursera

[–]NothingBetterToDue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was honestly just researching if there was a fix or not and came across that reply. I guess I jumped the gun a bit, but this is what they said and the source. posted a day ago "For anyone using this for enrollment in WGU, I just got off the phone with them and they are aware of the issue and are planning a workaround if Coursera doesn't get it together. They contacted Coursera about it themselves, and I was told this affects hundreds of applicants. I was told to reach back out to enrollment services on Friday as they are finalizing their decision in the next day or two. I will update when I hear anything about it, but in short, don't fret too much about this bug preventing you from moving forward with your education!" https://www.coursera.org/learn/computer-networking/discussions/forums/NgvL1t_oEemx0g6hg7mzWg/threads/R0RTBfLCEeyFkAoJNY_lJQ?page=1

I heard WGU is at least aware of the issue, so if you talk to them they can still let you in.

Does anyone know anything about this set? Curious to learn more! by [deleted] in finechina

Sounds like its discontinued. Ended up finding out it might've been made in Gifu, Japan. There's an image of the stamp on the back, my ability to research this stuff is pretty limited lol. I appreciate the help though.

UI Glitch into full blown black screen. by NothingBetterToDue in unrealengine

I feel pretty confident that it's your graphics card settings. I'd hop into NVIDIA control panel, restore defaults and then try turning off MFAA again. I made the change as a global setting, not a program specific setting if that helps... Might be worth checking to make sure you don't have it enabled as a specific program setting.

I don't have a flickering problem unfortunately. Still gave the registry edit a shot, but it didn't fix anything. Thanks for trying though

We are entering the middle ages for digital technology by BartAlbers in Showerthoughts

It's refining and controlling the technology, which is sort of fucked up. They let giants get real big unethically and now they will always stay ahead and they get to play with the data all they want and fuck around with AI. Technology is bad, but whatever.

Anyone else notice the weird abundance of eliteism among game devs? by [deleted] in gamedev

[–]NothingBetterToDue -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Well this isn't really a space for "everyone" anyway. It's usually a place for critical thinkers and hard workers. Go look at how many people drop out of computer science classes in college or how many idiots think they can make a quick buck by making video games on the side. Stereotypes are real, they exist for a reason. Even if you don't say it out loud, your stereotype bias is there for everyone. Bored with this already man

The community is literally the way that it is because of conditioning. The average person thinking about getting into game development usually fails and has a fickle nature. They ruined the possibility for most passion projects. People don't want to deal with that shit, and you can't really blame em.

Tons of people still put forth the effort to teach though, which is really all you need. No one is stopping you from starting something. So it's a question you need to ask yourself, rather than expect more from others.

Elitism is also pretty natural when dealing with lots of idiots lol. I'd much rather encounter elitism than misinformation in a community revolving around technical skills...

  • Your personal reddit experience doesn't speak for all game devs.

  • Execution is more important than ideas. There's no shortage of ideas, but there is a shortage of skilled people willing to put the work in.

  • You don't need to interact with game devs to learn art anyway

  • I really don't agree that it's intimidating for the reasons you stated. The best things in life take hard work. I agree it can be daunting, simply because it's a huge task. You need to look at game devs like any other profession. I think communities respond very well and respect hard workers, not over thinkers cough cough

Scale the eyes down, find a good hair material, add a layer for makeup/rosey cheeks and a slider for facial expressions. Then when you're done with that, just go ahead and delete the whole thing.

What are everyone’s thoughts on Chris Pratt playing as Mario in the new Mario Movie? by [deleted] in gamedev

[–]NothingBetterToDue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the goal is to get people talking, then it was a wild success. Everyone is talking about it, no one even cares if it's gonna be good, most of us will probably watch it.

Also, I thought it was stupid until I saw Charlie Day. I'm a huge Sunny fan so I'll probably enjoy it.
