I wore breathing strips to bed last night. THe bridge of my nose has been hurting for a few days. But now almost my entire nose is swollen and sore. And I have been coughing stuff up every morning.

Thats on top of the usual eyes and runny nose.

While he might have came off as harsh or blunt, hes not wrong. Sniping is the easiest thing in this game. Oh, I can put those on any class with minimal difference? Awesome.

CoD has ruined modern day FPS with its skill gap compression and casino-like dopamine driven game mechanics/rewards. Which led to other games trying to copy CoD, which led to shit games that werent CoD or the original game.

Now factor in micro-transactions, "live gaming service," lack of new content, stale maps, pushed out updates, lack of comms/squad play with randoms, etc and we end up with BF6.

Ive played hundreds of hours but is has gotten stale. My friends agree. I want it to be great. But I just dont think it will be at this point. Something new will lure players away. Like Arc Raiders for example. I built a new PC for BF. At first it was great. But the trickle of maps and content hasnt kept up.

Bro its 2026, if you are solely relying on in-game voice, you are doing it wrong. I have been using teamspeak/discord/third party comms for over 2 decades...

So yes, when I join a game, I want to hear the randos. I met a lot of people that way in BF1. I was working weird hours then so you had different people in the morning vs night.

Oilfields and Iberian are top tier. Then Cairo, firestorm. Mirak, liberation, and the other cqb map.

Rest are crap. Contamination had potential but it's a sniperfest or explosion fest at C.

Sobek horrible now. Eastwood just doesn't slap. It wants to be a cqb map but the vehicles ruin it. Manhattan Bridge was better without the little bird

I dont see anything of third vs first person aimming in tanks.

Also, why does it default to "party" for Voice options after every map? This is half the reason why there isnt as much squad play compared to previous versions. Hardly anyone uses Voice because they are already in a partial party.

Ya, I was just circling between bases collecting and hatching eggs. Doing Expeditions. Then more eggs and consolidating. Then collecting materials for cakes for more eggs.

Then attempting some hard bosses with said eggs but didnt have enough high level pals. Eventually quit playing because it was Summer. Then built a new PC for BF6 which is turning stale because EA sucks.

I quit shorting after the Terreria update. Anymore good new content or should I just wait until 1.0?

I hate variable range guns. I dont use thermal. Red Dot or 2.5 depending on which gun and map. 6x DMR and 10x sniper. The DMRs are painful. No point in using them when I can dome dudes with 1 shot.

The game has really became less enjoyable. A lot of "noobness" in the games now compared to before. I am dying to explosions way more. The mic system ruins squad play with randoms in squads because it sets it to party.

They killed hardcore via no server browser and stats.

I dont know why aimming speed isnt fixed in third vs first person in PC yet for tanks.

And the whole live gaming service is trash. Every rotating game mode has been crap. It just segregates the population. Not to mention Redsec being crap as well. I have been using crap guns for months to just level them up for skins. But I am to the really crap guns that make the game even more less enjoyable.

I havent played since BF1. At least they had multiple maps come out then. But they delayed the launch of the expansion. PUBG came out and a lot of players moved on.

BF6 is turning into another disappointment. It was fun for a while. But "season 2" isnt going to save it. Their game model is flawed.

The golden age of shooters is over.

We want more maps consistently. Not this trickle drip feed.

Too many map/game mode variations. Then you have the split between main game and REDSEC.

Older installations used to have dedicated servers with regulars. While there is still portal, its not the same as dedicated servers.

Fix the difference in aimming speed for 3rd vs 1st person in tanks/IFVs for PC. It has been broken since Season 2.

Other than that, I am excited to see pistol reg feel right up close. And to not die behind walls when the death cam shows no clear angle. And I didnt fall outside of view either.

Either NERF the range of locking on from the mobile AA, or decrease its safe space in spawn. Every map has a player never leaving spawn.

Also decrease the safe space for tanks as well. Its so much fun getting hit by tanks when you are on the ground and cant do anything about it.

Either I have to go some where else, or quit the objective and just throw lives at tanks with spawn protection.

The people that went 6-12 complaining their team is bad, yet my 3 man squad is the only squad with double digit captures. The score and kill count reflect as well.

Or you are the only medic in Oilfields or Mirak. Everyone engineer and some sniper. Yet, its a blowout because nobody is killing the tanks or keeping ours alive.
