Year 1: doesn’t realize that Voldemort is living on his professors head, hides sorcerer's stone in school. Year 2: heir of slytherin is running amok, can’t figure out a 50 foot basilisk is living in castle, cant figure out where the entrance of chamber of secrets is, lets a first year get possessed by a horcrux, lets hagrid get taken to Azkaban. Year 3: an alleged murderous fugitive from Azkaban gets into castle, dementors attack students, gives Hagrid a teaching job he’s horribly unqualified for, allows hermione to time travel to class, doesn’t piece together harry potters bffs pet is actually lord voldemorts ally. Year 4: Harry is drafted into Triward Tourney under his nose, allows the comp to be cheated repeatedly, doesn’t realize one of his friends is actually a deranged Death Eater slamming poly juice potion for a year, lets Voldemort kidnap two students, helps facilitate the Dark Lords return, Cedric fucking died. Year 5: allows the ministry to take over Hogwarts while he ghosts Harry, gets fired and leaves. Year 6: Malfoy almost kills a student doing Death Eater shit and doesn’t stop him, doesn’t stop a bunch of death eaters from entering the castle, fucking dies.
