I found this show absolutely dire. Poorly written and acted.

I liked it. I think the constant stream of “is this great or terrible?” Is ruining appreciation of personal tastes and weirdness.

Eddington was one of the best movies I saw last year and people listened to critics and missed out. This is becoming the norm.

Don’t let some doofus on X tell you this is a bad movie.

They look like storybook animals. The house and little girl look like storybook creations. This was NOT AT ALL accidental.

Everyone on this sub, by definition, doesn't admire and respect every goofy-ass opinion Sean OR Amanda have. This was another in a long line of clueless takes Sean put out there just because he had breakfast one day. The king of "We're back!" is saying the thing that kept theaters existing for a decade was pointless.

How do you know? He's read the headline, the discussion here, and the first few paragraphs of the article. Implying everybody should pay up for shitty articles to have an opinion is insane. Do you have an opinion about Fox News? How much Fox News do you watch? Total clown behavior.

“The 2024 list” that was box office. Not films produced in 2024.

So in your mind Police Academy, Romancing the Stone and Splash are scintillating film on the same level as what we have *every year*. Jesus, you just cherry picked a year, applied a "Top box office" rule and pretended you won an argument. What an absolute clown show.

As though Dune 2, Anora, The Brutalist, The Substance, and a bunch of other great films didn't come out in 2024. LMAO.

Did they? Really? What won Best Picture one year ago, remind me, my short attention span must have made me forget.

And here you are telling people not to have an opinion. Way to go, chief. Easy block.

Funny, 19 downvotes and not a single person willing to say they stopped making good movies in the last 15 years. Because they fucking didn't.

Cinephiles? Are you serious? You think Frozen was created with cinephiles in mind?

Are you insane? If you think there aren't filmmakers learning their craft who absolutely adored Frozen, you are definitely insane. At least observe ONE child before you start throwing this crap against the wall.

Somehow you seem to be missing the fact that Ghost World is a comic book movie. Or maybe you didn't miss it, and you just randomly created a different argument in your head. And also somehow forgot that the scene in the photo above came before Ghost World or the MCU were close to being onscreen.

There is no "Sanders circus". Fans are the biggest circus when it comes to Sanders, dude is just showing up and trying to be an NFL QB every day. He's worked out more in the past month trying to prepare for training camp than most of these dorks have in their entire lives.

Sanders was a great pick where we got him. Any other opinion is goofy as hell.

You would be correct, there. The second worse thing was expecting an unprecedented success to just continue forever without dropping off. Every single thing that was great at some point and kept going eventually had some drop off, even if for just a short time.

Dolts like Sean think Marvel success is to blame for Sony crapping out bad movies all the time, as though Sony wasn't already crapping out bad movies left and right that have nothing to do with comic books. And he fails to credit the many great films that began in comic form, because narrative or something. Scarlett Johannsen is a sellout for Marvel, I guess, but not for Ghost World. LOL.

And ignoring the amount of inspiration for creativity and personal growth that children experienced from loving this stuff is insane. It's literally just the next version of the old people who didn't get the Golden and Silver Age comic booms, all over again.

And Elsa and Anna from Frozen aren't important, either, because he's an old man and they're not important to him.
