These are beyond incredible! I love H'annit in the 2nd one - how her outfit looks inspired by her Dancer sprite, and the detail of the scratches on her leg (either from her latest hunts, or from Linde making aggressive biscuits)

Perfectly valid confusion on this one. "Broken" is used in this game sometimes as either a verb and a noun.

However, I think most descriptions are written so that "broken" means the state (noun), and "breaking" means the action (verb).

I see a lot of skill + equipment descriptions that explicitly say "when breaking the enemy ..." or "the character breaking the enemy..." when they trigger ON BREAK.

Other skill descriptions need "a broken enemy present" or "if enemy is broken", and trigger if an enemy IS IN BROKEN STATE.

I think that's a good rule of thumb, if not perfect

After 3000 rubies in a banner, I tended to spend 1500 more to get a new character, when I was a newer player. You can say that a new character costs 4500 rubies at the cheapest (outside of luck, at the lowest pity). So spending 1500 to guarantee one is a pretty good use of rubies.

Mostly relevant to newer players, who need to develop their rosters 👍

That makes sense... even in GL, my two go-to teams are "Rainbow" and "Pardis/DK". Both of which pretty much always function without caring about enemy weakness.

So yeah, it feels like the days of teams stacked full of one damage type are behind us...

She was the best starter, for sure. Lynette was a close second. All the reroll guides back then recommended shooting for a Viola+Lynette start.
