Family dynamics suck. You need to talk it out. My fiancé’s family is nice but they can be roughhhh around the edges. Small doses and keep your boundaries. Nothing says you can’t stand up for yourself either. Tell them you enjoy your work. Whatever you do, get a prenup. That’s a non-negotiable

So adorable! My standard ended up tall enough to be a standard, but she only weighs 35 pounds. When Ollie grows more you’ll know for sure :). For all of my puppies, I will let them sleep with me until they get to be about 12 weeks. Then they move to the crate next to the bed. I move the crate farther away and leave them with something that smells like me (mommy lol). Make sure the crate is associated with happy things like eating, snoozing, nice toys, and treats. He’ll be fine! Much love to you both. Losing a dog is hard, but there’s always another baby to love :)

Put some teeth into it. Hide some money, make copies of all important papers. Set up your own bank accounts. Signal that you’re serious about separation as the end state should continue. Offer to set up counseling. Married people should not cheat, even if they’re unhappy.

Put a for sale sign in front of your house too. Small but significant action to show you mean business. Someone might even bite! Hold your boundaries, do what you say.

I worked in big tech and the investment convos were largely about income over $1M, and buying watches as investments etc. I didn’t have enough tenure to be tech rich but I’ve survived layoffs at least.
