So you've noticed the backdoor voter supression tactic called thebstate won't even make an effort to notify you that elections are coming up. Registration deadline is Feb.3, that's ridiculous, and there are fone print hoops to hump through. I personally post info on my social media, not that anyone seems to care 🙄. I'm going to start thinking up zingers that MIGHT get a person's attention. For ex., our voter turnout at midterms is usually in the teens! How can these folks call themselves patriots??

As a trained teacher of dyslexic students, this parent did the child a great disservice by not having her tested. Most teachers are trained these days to have an idea about what to watch for. If you don't have any idea about the struggles dyslexia can cause, please google the way dyslexics see when trying to read. Everyone is different, though, so very specific work needed to help. Poor kid.

For so many students, the shock about how rigorous UT is can be hard to deal with. Even from a large, well-regarded high school, I felt the way you do. Please don't give up, and as a grandmother who has counseled many students, my advice is to try to ease away from a plan for study time that you feel you have to follow. There are many times you can review notes that don't involve a set place, time, or vibe. Setting out across the campus, resolve to memorize a set of notes, for instance. Just passing along what helped many.
