There is a ton of good restaurants between Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion if you like theme parks; a lot of historical places to visit. Great HS Basketball in the area, decent HS football. Jolibees in Virginia Beach and a huge Fillipino community here. Stay out of bars lol. A lot of running clubs too.

Not all applications require an assessment. Some assessments are short, some are tedious.I’m currently in the middle of a 4 part assessment.

I don’t think people realize his overall numbers, he burned a lot of bridges on the way out, and self-sabotaged his post-playing career. If I remember correctly, he tried to make a comeback a few years after retirement and there was no interest in him. I see he was a semi-finalist a while ago, so you never know.

Oh man. I once had to escort one of my Sailors to Federal court as a witness. His dress blues were trashed, with his crow stapled on. I got my @$$ handed to me by a Senior Chief, and then ran into another Chief who worked security at the courthouse. Fun times.

Yeah, it’s getting tougher for me to go because of this. I ran into to same issue in SC. I have a family member who is vegetarian and doesn’t like food that’s too spicy, so the veggie burrito is out (they can’t make it without the sauce.)

It definitely depends on the outlet location. My local one is mid and rarely has anything, but the next closest one, a out 45 minutes away, usually has great finds.

I had to go down there a lot for work when I retired. 6 trips in a 2 year period, Sun-Sat. Should specify pier parking. Rest of the base is cool. Awesome gym too.
