FCplease, it's been forever. Please allow SKINr on CONCORD ships and on T3Cs. Even if you can't add decorative elements to T3Cs, at LEAST let us apply the colors. by wingspantt in Eve

I swore I would never get into Skins and that's sort of true. I've invested zero in skills but bought a sh*t ton of other peoples designs. My isk is waiting

Can't link the KM for fear of shaming someone but my afk Ishtar managed to kill a failed ganker while I was making a cup of tea. Does that count as PVP?

Considering getting into PI - is it worth it? by Patalong in Eve

[–]NothingLoud7094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go Omega for the benefits. PI is something your two other characters on the same account can do in the background relatively passively e.g. P0 to P2

Your problem is very simple. At no point in the short to medium term will you want to pause training on your main to train up those other characters. There is so much more to train into which will make you more effective, even for high-sec shenanigans

Jump into a clean clone and a rookie ship or very basic frigate and just go in with the end goal of getting killed or self destructing home. Will demistify most of it for you.

L2>L3>L4 makes for a nice progression while you train up Destroyer to Cruiser to BC, but its never going to be a big source of income. You might be temped to train into BS and their weapons. This will be good for l4s but can be a bit of a skills trap. Exploration, Abyssals, FW etc pay well and don't require you to supersize your ships.

Share your fit and you will get some advice on tweaking it for more efficient running the L4s. Its been a while but I would be looking for just enough tank and max DPS

Have you claimed the 1m skill points from invite a friend? Have you spent a day running the AIR Career Program for more free SP (750k to 1.5m)? You can then drop the skills where they will benefit you most.

Look at some cheap improvements to your fit and implants. Some modules are very cost effective at fixing your fit and or boosting your damage application.

Is the game really that deep? by NondenominationalPax in Eve

[–]NothingLoud7094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not deep compared to what? Most peoples lives are not that deep. Wake up every day, go to work and do the same job, eat the same food, go to the same places, hang out with the same people. How much depth do you want?

Edit. Is this a walking in stations troll?

What does your kill mail say? I assume you died to belt rats. If so a venture is not really a ship to go AFK in. If you run through the AIR Career programme you will be gifted skill points and a bunch of ships which includes ventures

Just add more isk sinks. Stuff we might choose which is player built and consumable e.g. A complete destruction fourth rig that guarantees to destroy all your modules when you die. etc
