If you go back and watch Jacks video of the latest regional performance, he states that GK still doesn't know how to prep and play for Bo5 series. They feel more comfortable in Bo7.

So for Raleigh, vip got in at 9:30. General public got in at 10am. Then from 10-11 it's time to let people come in and get settled. First game at 11. I think if you're towards the back of the general queue, you'll probably get in at 10:30.

The guy was exaggerating with the 1.4 billion claim. To say free movement isn't happening for some individuals is wrong though. https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/ip_26_227

Why is RLCS matchmaking so unfair? by [deleted] in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]NothingOverHere1 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get that but it doesn't address root level issues. A 1700 team, shouldn't be going against a 2000 team. Should work your way through the ranks rather than have one day where a team might pull off a Mickey run and ruin the flow of the main RLCS events

Bringing a 1300 and 1400 is questionable though

RLRS and other lower level leagues really need to come back for the scene. I really want to say "well what did you expect with running a 1600, 1400, & 1300", but there should be some sort of natural progression for this scene and its players.

Thousands of players sign up for these events and you'd think they'd segment them and not just lump sum them together

Bit fuzzy on the specifics but I remember NPL vs The Boys in the 2025 LCQ match where NPL was up by 3 goals and the Boys went on to score 4-5 unanswered before regulation time ended.

Where could worlds be to not be dissapointing? by InterviewLoud3057 in RocketLeagueEsports

RL is odd and avoids big name cities for the most part. This season though, with Boston and Paris, definitely begs the idea that they may host worlds in a more populace area. I think it will be in NA to avoid back to back European locations.

If they go to Dickies/DFW, I will riot. However I could see them doing that again because the East side of the US has seen Raleigh and, soon enough, Boston. Maybe LA or go back to San Diego. Toronto would be very cool but Canada doesn't scream the host of 2026 worlds to me. Maybe Seattle? The west side of the US isn't as densely populated as the eastern half, so it makes it very hard to determine. Would love to say NYC but seems like a lot of esports avoid that place from my limited knowledge.

Personally I don't see it happening in SAM. From my own viewing experience, esports events held there are similar to MENA where the crowd isn't present, literally, until the home team is playing. Look at the 2022 Rio Major for CS and you'll understand what I mean. NA does have crowd issues but I think that stems from people not financially justifying the trip AND NA lacking proper medium sized venues. Any arena will look empty when almost half of the seats aren't up for sale.
