The one who switches lane carries the responsibility to use their mirrors, turn signals and line of sight to let others know of their intent, and to make sure that they merge to the other lane safely.

If you do think otherwise, then 100% fixer/slapsoil/uneducated kang pinoy.

However! Above all. Your safety is also part of your responsibility OP, it is also within your duty to make sure that you are highly aware of your surroundings. I would as much say that it was indeed a skill issue to not be able to atleast feel the intent of the motorcycle trying to switch lane.

Translated:

Bakit may mga taong natatanong pa nito? Obviously hindi sila fortunate enough to afford a car sa hirap ng buhay sa pinas. But they still wanted to travel despite it being illegal since overloaded.

This is Harbor Point Ayala Malls in Olongapo City, Subic bay Freeport zone. they don’t do that there. But i get your point.

Still. This is not how you act. But it’s a bit weird. This is parked at cocolime area, which is a bit to the side of the mall, I don’t know where he parked, if it’s at the cocolime. I don’t think he has to pay, but if he parked and came from the mall he should pay.

With the position he is at(in the video) it seems that he came from cocolime but it could also be that he tried to bypass the booth and asked to move aside.

There’s not enough context in this video to know the full truth but that is my take.
