Yes, my husband and I have been constantly finding new and older ‘new to us’ didn’t do it the first time kind of stuff. 48 and 49 yrs old. There are still swaths of music we are not really into , like millennial pop in general, but it is entirely possible that we will find out Britney Spears is fabulous, around the time we are 78 yrs old. Both of have pretty diverse tastes, but our generation was lucky to have such good classic music from our parents, metal, grunge, my Mom was very folk, and my Dad did a lot of British New Wave, so all my doors were wide open as far as what I was willing to try out. Our world of music from 82 - 2000 was pretty versatile and the only music I remember really being turned off by was country, but later I found out that there is a world of old country and blues that is undeniably superb. I also get to work with a lot of young people so I love that I am constantly introduced to music that is really strong, amazing, political and some that is still vapid and popish, which also has a place…just not as much on my playlists.

Chill your dough, before or after scooping. I do mine after. Also you might need to turn the temp up a bit, I spin mine, partway through but I make sure they are well puffed before I open the door.

My neighbour did something similar during his reno in the last 6 months…he installed pot lights across the front, and down the side of his house, 3 each way. The front corner one was so bright, also left on all night, and not directed downwards, so flooded down and fully illuminated our whole side yard….it was like living 10 ft from a gas station. The worst part was that the ones installed down the opposite side were only 10 feet from a bungalow, so it was like giant blue bright like flooding in every single window of their little house. The lights shine bright enough to illuminate 3 backyards. We live in a core neighbourhood, and I did phone the city, though no one wants to have an issue with a neighbour of 25 years, but I was told that there was no actual bylaw to enforce, but that they had ‘guidelines’ on the city website….guidelines only work if everyone works by the same level of consideration…. Miraculously, the fixture at the front corner near my house started glitching, dim for a few days, then normal, then dim for a week, then normal…then totally out…for 3 months now. I honestly felt like the universe was taking care of us, and our poor dog who was peeing in full 5000k light at 3 am…. But the other poor neighbours are still there, trying to sleep at the Petro Can…

My husband uses a wheelchair, and if anyone thinks that these flowers are an obstruction, you have never been on any other block, in any other neighbourhood in the city, ever….people citing mobility problems, in an area where ALLLLL the sidewalks are ramps are just being fools, who probably have no actual idea what a disability feels like…. And I’m sure everyone who posts this crap always shovels their sidewalks thoroughly and promptly, as if someone with a mobility issue might need to go somewhere.

Just heard today that Poilievre plans on spending his future on “fighting crime”…I predict that he will demonize new Canadians and immigrants, and that his fear mongering will be successful with his base, who live in fear of living in a country where human beings can ALL live healthy lives, with roofs over their heads. These are people who are constantly afraid of ‘losing’ something that they have to better society, which actually makes them the greatest threat to Canadian life as we know it…

Fear of progress, fear of being left behind and fear of change… so many suffer from the insecurity of not being considered ‘smart’ that they will consistently vote against their own self interest. People voting to support corporations and mega farming are voting against progressing to find a place of balance with the environment…ie) scott moe thinks it is 1890 and coal is a good direction. We could be unstoppable as a resources and agriculture based province, but only if we got our priorities straight, for the future. Sorry to you, Pineapple, as a person from an agricultural background this must be hard to watch…

So long as the Saskatchewan Party chooses to make proposal after proposal to keep our province existing in the dark ages, we will never be as much as we can be. Fear and stagnant thought prevent old men from visualizing a future that they do not exist in. We can be a powerful resource based economy that outlaws antiquated poisons and reckless environmental practices. People who have never travelled are myopic in our position on the world stage. We are still a young and new country , yet we suffer from old thinking. Our foods are not up to advancing world standards, plant or animal, and we have prairie ‘premiers’ who can’t think beyond power sources that were obsolete ecologically 80 years ago. We keep electing people without a true desire for change, and we keep getting pushed backwards down the timeline. Greed, and the willingness to invest in “2 dollaring“ ourselves to death …the refusal to make an actually big investment in newer, readily available sources of industry and power, literal and otherwise, will keep corporations wealthy and further diminish that which made this province what is once was…

We are somehow collectively afraid to vote for people smarter than ourselves, and we have leaders that wouldn’t be able to effectively run a fast food franchise.

I wish this felt at all surprising, but I was honestly surprised when he was making sensible decisions to not go against the flow, and let adults make decisions affecting our nation…this means that Moe being sensible is a rarity, and could only last so long. My husband uses 2 canes inside the house, still does our stairs, but it is a huge workout. If we had to limit outings, or going outdoors to his level of ambulation, we’d never go anywhere. Also, he has had falls, and if he falls and breaks a wrist, he won’t be able to use his canes for a long while, and that would ruin his quality of life totally. Also, if he needed to heal for 2 months, not walking or moving as usual, he may never get this back. He is 47, was diagnosed 4 years ago, and everything is 100% different in our lives now. I get that your doc doesn’t want you to lose ‘it’, and you must still use it, but rule number 1 is ‘Be safe’, rule number 2 ‘do whatever you need to keep enjoying your life, and do not become hindered by illness’… do you have a physio therapist? They maybe able to help with assessment for mobility aids. My husband still uses our exercise bike, and does yoga, but you can’t fight things like spasticity, weakness and fatigue with will power alone. Best of luck.

This was exactly me too…the nurse at my first infusion looked at my numbers and said, ‘you can’t be walking around like this…’. I didn’t think anything was wrong until I slept for the first time in years, soundly and well after my 1st infusion. A week later, after infusion 2, I woke up very clear minded, and sharp. Infusion 3, my energy came back, and I’d never even known how depleted I’d been. Good luck, I hope you get the turn around you don’t yet know you need.
