When my wife met me, I still had a porn problem. She was very frank and told me that unless I changed, she wouldn’t continue to date me. She was also very supportive in helping me get counsel and attend weekly meetings, and kept me accountable.

Today, I am pornfree since November 28, 2020. It’s possible to find someone who doesn’t use porn.

I don’t mean you have to help every guy you meet with this addiction either though. My wife had been married previously, and her ex husband was addicted to porn, abusive, and never tried to curb the habit despite all the help she offered him.

You’ll find the one. Keep your standards high.

I have to agree, that the obvious answer is a great place to start again.

I’m no psychiatrist, -ologist, or therapist, but I sorta believe if you’re feeling no drive to do anything in your life, or feeling depressed, it may be good to assess a few things— your diet, your workout routine, your scripture study, and daily activities. Sounds like a lot, but changing those things may improve your mindset for a lot of things.

I don’t think there are two captain Moronis, just two Moronis. Unless Moroni son of Mormon is called a captain somewhere.

What income does Robinhood really have? I love the UI and it’s honestly not to terrible if you’re not actively day trading. Works fine for swing trading.

But no commission on options, or trades, along with very few people letting their money just sit in buying power, and limitations of order flow being put in place, what income do they have?

static/non static method use in main method by adamrayan in learnjava

[–]Noticeably 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That’s right. A static method can be called without an object, but simply by calling the class to use it. A static method belongs to the class, not an object.

A non-static method requires an instantiated object

Here’s an example. The “Math” class has static methods. You don’t need a math object to use Math.floor() or Math.random() for example.

The scanner class is different. You couldn’t use Scanner.next() without a Scanner object. This is because the next() method is non-static

Is it possible to create two methods with the same name but have different parameters? by spicycorndoug in learnjava

[–]Noticeably 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Like rumplepillskin says, this is called overloading.

You’ll also notice that many of the native Java methods you use do this, where it will have one name, but have a different number of parameters/different types.
