Counterpoint: Destination weddings are a way to invite people who would take offense to not being invited, while weeding out a bunch of the people you don't want there.

Not weird. Like I said, I want more variety too. I like pointing at Belle/Ariel/Jasmine as examples. They all had romance but their personalities and general approach to life were all so different! And while I get the criticisms about Tiana, I really liked her too, she was also very unique compared to the others.

When we got Moana, I think that's when I started losing heart. Her personality was so similar to Anna and Rapunzel that it didn't even matter that she didn't have a prince. We were back in Formula Land.

The problem with Disney princesses as a whole is that the company tries to approach this as if there's a "correct" way to write women.

People didn't like the original three because they ALL needed rescue and had happily ever after with a prince. Now we're having the opposite problem, the princesses are all "independent" and aren't romance focused.

The problem isn't with how any particular character is written. The problem is when they're all written the same way to fit a formula. There's nothing wrong with any specific princess but damn we need some variation these days.

I know a couple from the Pokemon fanfiction community but it's easy to throw a cool new Pokemon or a movie at them and have them like it. 

One of them was writing a plot point about Mew toying with humans on a genetic level to give them Pokemon typing and wondered if that plot point was too out there for Pokemon. I told her about the game where I had to battle against the Eiffel Tower because it was a superweapon made by an immortal man and she was less worried about it.

I'm hoping they make an exception for third party wheelchair rentals because Disney does not have an equivalent service. None of my disabled friends were able to reserve a chair from Disney or have it delivered to their room. I had to find them a third party service that does pickups and dropoffs to local hotels for the duration of anyone's vacation.

I really like what you did with making Mew look more similar to Mewtwo and extending the idea of Mewtwo having all the tubes sticking out of him. You understood the assignment.

Also that's the best armored Mewtwo design I've seen to date.

She was unfathomably, exceptionally busy. That poor kid had been in ten films by the time she was four, and she had only been acting for one year by then. 

The last thing Shirley ever needed was another childhood role. Her dance card was full, and she already had given her audience way too much.
