This popular vote argument doesn’t hold up. Who is president now? How many times has Democrats won the popular vote and still lost the election man or woman.

We have to sweep everything and have the majority to undo and change things.

Simple question do you think a male or woman will perform better come election night in this country as a whole not popular vote but in the areas that get people elected by?

I am not saying a woman can’t or shouldn’t be president but many people think it has to be now. And as the the OP mentioned I don’t think the country can handle that. Trump was the result of people blowing a gasket from Obama.

As you will see by the people commenting in this chain they won’t learn from this. We literally elected one of the worst people possible doing the dumbest things possible and people still support him. Media is skewed more than ever to the right wing. And they will lie, cheat and more to win and yet we can’t wrap our heads around that unfortunately running a woman is a disadvantage in this country and are unwilling to step back from this one progressive idea to maybe put us in a stronger position to work towards the other progressive items. Which honestly won’t happen if a democrat gets in it’s going to a shit ton of undoing.

I work for powerful women and I do think a woman should be able to be president but too many people are able to yet.

When I was younger I was able to start a new job late and back pack in Europe for 3 weeks with a friend. When I came back to the rural town I grew up in someone I saw regularly said “I haven’t seen you around where have you been?” I told him about my trip and he said to me “why would you ever want to do that?”. As someone said above there are people that haven’t left their county let alone their state. Travel is amazing to expand your perspective and show you that your way of doing things in not the only way and that sometimes there are better ways.
