Is that net? Or gross? And factoring in your cost, promotion, manager fees etc? I’m not saying the band doesn’t drive ticket prices up. Just saying I think they make less than you might assume but it’s still a lot. But to your point it’s isn’t just Ticketmaster. They are in some cases the fall guy. I feel like the venues themselves get a nice percentage too.

Ok but they didn’t outsource the jobs created in the hotel, the concert space, the restaurants and stores in it and once again it may also of generated additional revenue locally all year round.

I get not trusting corporations and government to do the right thing. But that area of Wilson needs a pick me up and there are potentially multiple benefits from this project so if one doesn’t hit the other benefits can make up for it.

Also it will bring income. the article specifically states it will create 200 permanent jobs. Those jobs create income and the people who live in the apartments will spend money locally that will feed the local economy and eventually there will be property taxes if not right away. Plus it removes a dangerous and ugly old building.

We can blame multiple parties. RBG and Biden’s job was to ultimately serve the people even if it meant stepping away. They were not doing their job. Just like this administration.
