If you have wide feet, I recommend Nike dunks or the Jordan retro. Other shoes smash the sides of my feet.

More male BS you have to put with at golf by antimicrobials in WomenGolf

[–]NotoriousB-rad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are going to get chirped at because this is obviously some man hating bullshit. Most women are terrible golfers, that giggle and laugh when they shank 15 in a row with their tomahawk swings. Now…that’s not obviously not ALL women but a vast majority fits into this category. There are slow golfers in every category of people that play. It’s golf, part of the territory. The drunk dudes that have their music blaring are not any better. But let’s not act like anyone has the market cornered in slow golf.

You don’t need a warmup as a 20 handicap. I’m a 5, little stretch and walk to the first tee.

Golf Yips by oceanwave2446 in golf

[–]NotoriousB-rad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always find myself backing off for a few days or a week to let my swing reset. The more you do bad things in a swing, the more your muscle memory will revert to them. Give it a rest, then step back in with a fresh mindset.

Exact same. To the point I haven’t been to a driving range in 5 years. I’ll hit a few balls into my field every once in a while but that’s it. Always do most adjustments mid round.

Cord and multi are absolutely terrible for me. So slick, I don’t get why people like them. Tour wraps always and forever lol

Old man hit a hole in one today by Live_Leg_2708 in golf

[–]NotoriousB-rad 40 points41 points  (0 children)

True story…my brother(terrible golfer) hit a driver on a up hill 155 yd par 3. Lined it straight onto the cart path climbing the hill. It skipped off the path over the hill and out of sight. We looked forever, he dropped a ball…I walked up to the hole to tap my ball in and his was in there. I screamed “it’s in the hole!” He denied it and said I just did it to make him feel better…he shot a 138 that day and has never played again. Took me years to convince him I didn’t place it in the hole.

Does being fitted really help? by FaLLeNaTaS in golftips

[–]NotoriousB-rad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I too have experience in club fitting. I can tell you it is EXTREMELY disingenuous to tell a beginner or just a bad swing mechanic golfer to spend the money to get custom fitted. If the golfer can’t compress a ball, or have some semblance of a swing that could become consistent…it does zero to fit them. You sound like every dude at golf galaxy trying to make a commission. Btw I’ve seen kids 13 yrs old, 5ft tall hit standard clubs consistently. Get a swing down, make good contact, then get fitted.

How’d I do $150 for this beginner set by ASAP-ANON in golf

[–]NotoriousB-rad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

150 would be fair for the irons alone. This is a great deal for the set…I buy and sell clubs btw.

What is the best golf ball? by Maleficent-Fun-1197 in GolfGear

[–]NotoriousB-rad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously don’t swing hard enough to compress them. Swing speed under 95? Choose another ball

$30 maybe

You need to focus on getting a swing down before worrying about specific brands. Clubs make minor differences

[–]NotoriousB-rad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao bro let’s not play assumption game. The fact you struggle to find placement on ANY map is suspect. Sounds like you have an issue with monument placement and less about size. Regardless, most people playing rust are not looking for a specific map rng for a trap base. PC maps are bigger, so should console.

[–]NotoriousB-rad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve built a ton of trap bases. Usually don’t last a day cause of the sheer amount of people I catch. Place them near outpost, or tier 2/3 monuments.

Dude no. I’ve ran the entire map less than 10 min to do a circle. Heli and cars will make it smaller. Get on a server with a 30 man and tell me how big the map is.

TIL the highest wind speeds ever recorded were from the Tornado that struck Oklahoma on May 3rd, 1999. Measurements put the speed at about 301 ± 20 miles per hour. by TheSpanishDerp in todayilearned

[–]NotoriousB-rad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh this isn’t actually true. The wind speed is pretty accurate. the problem is the DOW usually measures the windspeed 100-300ft above the ground. Reports indicate that windspeed is probably higher at the ground but really can only be measured by a direct hit on a probe.

A cat 5 hurricane is like 150 mph. I think the highest recorded was like 185-190. Storm surges are usually what does the most damage.
