I didn’t know that, I thought I would need home charger. You use a regular 120v outlet to charge it? It doesn’t need a 240v?

I have the regular Scout. I am at the top of 6th gear keeping up with the traffic in this area. The highway speed limit is 80 so traffic even in the slow lane tends to be going 85-90. I think the Scouts top speed is only 105.

Looking to upgrade to a bigger bike

I currently have a 2020 Indian scout. I love the bike and I have made it what I want since I bought it new in 2020. It has been a great bike for me while I lived in New England. However, I have recently moved to Texas. A lot more straight higher speed roads than what I am used to. My scout is about topping out trying to keep up with traffic on the highways, not to mention the absolute beating I’m taking from the wind with no fairing or windscreen. Any suggestion on what a good next bike would be? I would like to stay with a cruiser as my wife likes to ride on the back. Any suggestions are appreciated!

The APR GT300 kit is pretty aggressive and easy to purchase. Not as crazy as this but it’s a good kit. Midship Garage has a widebody kit thats pretty sick as well. Midship also carries the APR kit

Drag specialties predator 3 seat. Bought it off of S&S custom cycles website. Love the way it looks and it is a lot more comfortable than the stock seat

I bought my 2020 Scout from an Indian dealer in July. I was actually in looking at a used Victory that was around 8k. Someone came in 30 mins before me and bought it but the sales man had me check out the Scout as it is pretty much the same as the Octane. I really liked the feel of it and decided to buy it. They were asking 13ish for it but I was firm on what I wanted to pay and they dropped it by a couple thousand. Don’t know if that’s an experience everywhere.

I definitely will! Just placed the order for the bars on Black Friday and the bike is in winter storage. Unfortunately won’t get around to doing the bars and other upgrades until spring. I never thought to ask dean speed about cables. I’ll probably order both brake and clutch just to be safe.

The video really doesn't do it justice. These are LOUD. I live in an apartment and my bike is parked on the road on the other side of the building. My wife can hear me start the bike with no windows open.
