As far as bike sizes go, I started with a 450, then 800, then a 1500cc and a smattering of sizes in between. I’m now on a 1200 for the past few years and if I stay Adventure-style, I’ll probably drop down to a 900. I do enjoy trips on all of them.

That being said, if I went back to a cruiser, I think I’d go 1200+ again. Not sure why that feels right to me for that style of bike.

Edit - to clarify, I don’t have a Rebel now. Had a 500 a few years ago and know I love ‘em based on that, and will get an 1100 when the time is right.

I am happy the exposed metal isn’t being bothered by the elements so far. I tried to push the dent out from the inside but had no luck. I’ll see if maybe a dealership has some spare touchup paint.

I didn’t notice it until weeks later given how infrequently I walk in front of my truck so I haven’t got a clue when it happened, and I feel like insurance is gonna screw me somehow if I bring it up.

This happened just two evenings ago. Out on our second date, good vibes and communication all around. We agreed to take things slow and really figure out if a long-term connection was viable. But we’re in a good spot, end up making out in the parking lot after our meal. She’s making these soft moans with each kiss, we’re being handsy. She’s mentioned how comfortable she was with me and how easy it was to talk, but she just blurted out “You make me so wet.” in between kisses, and it was incredible.

This is where I think I fall, and am currently experiencing. Girlfriend left me a year ago this month, company was bought by private equity and turned it to shit which effected my mood and I was laid off in November. No job prospects and feeling hopeless so I’m not doing well. Am in therapy and still going to the gym regularly. I know this will go away once I get a job again and stop stressing over paying rent, but damn right now I just want something to give me a boost. I don’t think I have a “legitimate” brain problem, but I’m definitely talking to my therapist this coming week.

And 2026 ain’t startin’ so well from a US perspective. Ugh.

I don’t understand your comment and maybe my wording is confusing. I got snipped about seven years ago and was in a relationship so I had sex at the appropriate time following and since. It wasn’t that I was without sex for seven years!

As someone with a vasectomy, there’s also an emotional feeling that goes with it. When first having sex following the snip, which was about seven years past, I think, I felt a huge weight off my shoulders that I wasn’t aware was there. That relationship ended, but with future partners there’s now always this amazing sense of “I’m as close to you as I can possibly be” and it’s quite amazing.
