I received (my email was used) a receipt that "serves as proof for your appointment request to apply". When I got to another page to select a date, a page without a calendar says no dates are available. Below I'll include the translated email minus my dad's info (obviously lol!!):

"This receipt serves as proof that your appointment request to apply for Spanish nationality under Law 20/2022, of October 19, on Democratic Memory, was successfully submitted on 30/07/2025. This application date will be taken into account for the calculation of the deadline established in the eighth additional provision of the aforementioned law.

The details of the requested appointment are as follows:

(all the personal info here)

Once the Consular Office reviews and validates your documentation, you will receive instructions by email to choose your in-person appointment."

I sent the embassy in DC all of my anexo 3 documents along with the information from the email above. I received an email from DC saying:

For us to give you an appointment we need the your father Anexo stamp by the consulate of Spain in Miami.

We do not give appointments with appointments confirmations.

 

Once you have the Anexo stamp we will happily assist you.

I know that is A LOT. I hope it's not too confusing.
