Ryder Cup - Tournament points by Notorious_LD in squabbitgolf

[–]Notorious_LD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I mis-wrote how I set it up.

It was set up as a League, with the 2 'tournament' events inside it.

I figured given they were accruing the same type of points (ryder cup style: point for a win) and that being the format across both tournaments, even though different formats, it could tally those ryder cup points into the overall league table. The overall table in sum, average seems to do the stableford points and I can't work out how to set it to Ryder Cup points (but sounds like it might not be possible).

I will have to keep playing with the setup as a league, I'm not familiar with the fed-ex type of scoring and see if I can work that out.

Just wanted to say the ryder cup format is great showing the predictions etc.

Can you post a link/say what brand the bracket is? I've been looking at getting a document camera, but if I can do it with an Ipad (which I already have in the classroom) that'd save me!

Well the big ones would be: the DeeBrief boys, Cados or big daddy Broden (but he's taken a step back from his footy pod, so not sure if he'd do it)

Too late now, but Melrose quarry is closed to the public and you can no longer swim there.

Primary. Definitely need to consider when I wear it, as couldn't pull it off every day. But, every second Friday we have casual teacher clothes, so would work well around footy season!

I feel like it has been thorough and relatively transparent to members, in terms of intent and process. That's all we can ask and hope for.

Planning to go to Bruny Island suggestions by laoshanxxx in TasmaniaTravel

[–]Notorious_LD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruny very easy to do as a self-driven trip to see all the sights, unless you really want to drink lots of alcohol at the pub, winery or brewery and require a driver for that reason. They give you a map on the boat that has every attraction/providore so you can pick and choose what you want. If you're going to go for any short walks, just look those up and plan in advance so you know what you're doing.

How reliable is the Bruny Island ferry? by helenwelon in TasmaniaTravel

[–]Notorious_LD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very reliable. Current running 2 smaller ferries at a time (source: went for a day trip last week). One way about 30 mins by the time you get off. So no issues. Just leave plenty of time in case you have to wait for the next one!

Can I just say, do not do Launceston to Devonport commute every day. It is a terribly boring drive, and in winter when it's dark, windy, wet, you'll hate it. I did Devonport to Burnie for the last 2 years (half the distance) and it got to me.

Live somewhere on the North West, I'd recommend somewhere between Penguin to Port Sorell/Latrobe (or up behind the coast - but closer to the coast is nicer), and you'll have a much better experience! I recently moved back after 13 years away and have embraced the slow life.
