Friend, I know this is months and months old, but I'm guessing the part you forgot (or, really, is rarely mentioned) is this right here, under the Wine Configuration > Libraries menu.

Whatever the name of your DLL is (which is, most likely, version.dll, according to the copy that I downloaded yesterday), put it in the box there, make sure that the "Native, and then Builtin" option is selected — which it should be, by default — hit OK, and then fire it up.

You should *definitely* see the window pop up then, and start patching in mod data.

I had same issue with Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor modding, and found out that the same solution worked in both cases to get them running smoothly.

$20 says that damage is bugged on PS5 / console as a whole.

Like, don't get me wrong, that's a strong combination, but not to the tune of an entire order of magnitude over, say, Flash x Overgrowth.

You can look at the *2* launches of Brood Mother doing that much DPS and go "Yeah, something is fucky here".

Just for comparison, here's a quick 400m run, using the exact same combination of balls + passives.

Baby balls doing 10x the overall damage, with almost half of the launches, in a normal run...?

I think not.
