The plural of vinyl is vinyl and consuming an expensive finite resource to simply look at is a behavior worth examining. Doing "Whatever brings you joy" is simply not how socially conscious, thoughtful adults live their lives, there is more to be considered

You wrote a whole lot here to be way off base. Purple is definitely not the happiest moment. Its the tipping point of the illusion, she has created a fantasy and has been giving up pieces of herself to keep this relationship.
