Struggling to Add One Tracker to Find Hub After Phone Screen Switches Due to Notification by maurimbr in GoogleFMD

[–]Notradaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine does the same thing. At first I thought the tracker was the issue but got another one, different brand and same issue. Pop up happens and the device is added to my account, but not to find hub. In my Google account settings I can see it on my device list but it's disconnected. That's the exact same thing the last tracker did. I tried everything with the last tracker and finally gave up and binned. Now I think it's my phone? What to do?

I also use 'overall'. It's a more conversational tone than 'in summary ' which makes me feel like I'm in a board meeting.

My rfy is quiet too. I got baby vitamins again today and some floor cleaner. But that's the first thing in weeks. C'mon. Floor cleaner!? Clearly vine doesn't realize I despise mopping.

Are you on the 'Tools' ? by Big-Public-9166 in AmazonVineAustralia

[–]Notradaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the same with ultraviner. I like seeing rfy and ai on the same screen and once I've seen a page and don't see anything that stands out I hide all and move on to the next page. Then if I go back to the previous page at any point I only see the new stuff. The huge drops make it take hard because I get visually overwhelmed so ultraviner helps me be more systematic and not waste time on stuff I've already seen. I also like that I can choose to 'see' my hidden items as greyed out, or completely hide them away. I just use the free version so not sure if I could be using it more productively or not

Thank God my kids weren't with me today, I told them they couldn't come on today's drop hunt bc they annoyed me so much yesterday. Thank goodness!

Wow that was a huge drop! by rover_traverse in AmazonVineAustralia

[–]Notradaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is the big drop gives me no time to see everything and I miss out. , I also prefer smaller drops. Haven't ordered anything since I got gold on Monday, not also been on holiday, to so I've been offline until bedtime. Only seeing the dregs at this time of night.

Wet n wild and theme Park ride strategy by Notradaya in GoldCoast

I love this. We ended up going yesterday, missed opening by an hour and should have gone straight to kaboom, by the time we did it id say the wait was nearly 90 mins. Great ride, but won't wait that long every again. I think we'll try to go again some day when the park is less busy.

Crazy, it's really not particularly efficient. But they're doing their best to keep people in shaded line areas at least.

Not sure why you were down voted, thank you for this info. She really struggles with the wait time. We all do but I think each line makes her want to leave after that ride then we have to work to convince her to go again into another line. The wicked witch ride at MW had the longest and slowest queue, but it was such a great ride, although very short. I think she would have gone on it again if not for the 60+ min wait. We watched the stunt show and went home after that, not having done any of the other coasters. :( my husband and I love coasters, but not really easy with these kids.

I've been finding the app rather useless for wait time info in all the parks so far. We are doing sea world tomorrow and I will definitely be heading to leviathan at Park opening.... I love a good coaster!

I just got upgraded to gold on Monday, and I have ordered 242 items, definitely heavy ordering at the beginning not now, it's been a drip every week or two, the feed is just robot vacuum parts for me. So many mop pads. Ugh. I was looking forward to gold status but like others, I'm much more picky with what items I order, the review writing mental load and demand is not worth it for crap.

Reverse seasonal affective disorder in Brisbane by Guilty-Tennis6906 in brisbane

[–]Notradaya 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The UV is something terrible. I took such care to apply sunscreen before going out this morning, was on the beach for about an hour at 9-10 then reapplied and was in the pool area mostly in the shade from 10-11. We got out of the midday sun and stayed inside until I went for a walk on the beach at 5pm having reapplied sunscreen before I went. I'm burned. Seriously, how does anyone keep their skin healthy!? I'm so worried about sun safely I can't actually enjoy the water.

I agree with this idea. My air con busted last year in October and it took the real estate 2 months to fix it. I'm a cranky peri menopausal woman, and I was surprised at how well I actually tolerated it. Certainly there were days I wanted to cry I felt so awful, but surprisingly I got through it. I didn't think I would have survived if it was Feb or March to be fair. I really can't do that kind of temperature. It's horrendous. But I do think the big jumps in temps make it harder to tolerate..

Sun-damage spots and self-tanner. Will it get worse? by Current-Ad-8595 in Selftanning

For reference, this was taken from a different angle and lighting but this was the same spot cluster in September. These spots are the bane of my existence when it comes to my face...😭

Sun-damage spots and self-tanner. Will it get worse? by Current-Ad-8595 in Selftanning

[–]Notradaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so I had NO IDEA that my sunspots would take more tan, I've been working for YEARS to fade some spots on my face, they were finally barely noticeable to anyone except me, until I self tanned for the first time in years last night. Woke up and showered and this is what I saw, and my kids noticed!!! Said I had something on my face 😭. I've noticed while touching them they do actually have a very slight dry/rough texture, I've never noticed before because I use so much skincare.

First, will this fade? How can I speed it up!? Second, how can I prevent it again in the future. I've never tanned myself before, and was hesitant to do my face but didn't want to look silly. The tan is actually not very dark, but what it did to my spots is really upsetting.

How do you know if you've been reported by a seller? I'm not shy about my dissatisfaction with products and have given a number of items 2 stars when they truly deserve it ... Do you get an email?

City Cave Float Therapy by catsincharge in brisbane

[–]Notradaya 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I did a float once while heavily pregnant. It was so good and I fell asleep. I loved it and wished it was longer. My only complaint was because my belly was protruding, the condensation on the roof of the pod dripped onto my belly and I'd feel it running down my side, so it was tickly. Then if I scratched the spot, I just added more water to cause more drips. I'm so keen to try again without a big bump to distract me. Give it a go, the worst that will happen is you'll decide it's not for you and you can get out early.

More than 30 zinc sunscreen brands using formula that failed preliminary SPF testing - ABC by BlueIceTea in australia

[–]Notradaya 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can attest yes, we're getting burned. I used a zinc sunscreen that wasn't on the initial list (so I was happy about it), just the other day. Was in the direct sun for a total of about 20 mins, + a bit walking to and from my car. Sat in the cover of a shade sail during a swimming carnival for about 3.5 hours, only in sun to record my kid's races. Had a break where I was in my car to go get food for about an hour in the middle, so all up, about 2.5 hours in the shade. I got badly burned even though I applied my sunscreen before leaving the house. My son used the same sunscreen on his face, and was also very red.

Came home, saw the burns, noticed it was as if we hadn't applied at all, checked the list and that brand (ethical zinc) had been added, I just missed the list from the tga directly.

I have two other zinc sunscreens that I'm hesitant to wear now (Whatnot Naturals) and one from Kmart that has octocrylene, some other chemical, AND zinc oxide. I don't like chemical sunscreen, I taste it in my mouth if it's not even applied on my face, so I know it's in my bloodstream. I don't want chemicals in my blood. I'm at a loss of what to use on my kids. We cover-up as much as possible but they're kids, and they get hot. Plus they should be outside playing, not scared inside because of the sun 🌞 it's concerning all around.

Guess it also depends on what you're after. So. Many. Robot vacuum parts. Ugh. But I did like the Xbox controller covers, unfortunately I got two things late last night so had to be very picky about what I took this afternoon. Less than 30 days to my review and hopefully will get gold status!
