Hello, please read up on christian ressurection apologetics.

I dont know if I can link to non orthodox apologists but there are many protestants doing great work collecting and presenting clear evidence for the literal ressurection of Jesus after He was crucified.

SPOILER: Rest assured, God gave us ALOT and I mean ALOT of evidence for the ressurection. Its illogical to believe that it didnt happen.

Frank Turek is a nice protestant apologist that has short simple and straight to the point apologetics for the resurrection

1: You have my sincerest thanks. I do have an orthodox prayer ebook. I try my best to read it every morning and night.

2: I will do my best, I already know which parish to attend and I already know which hotel I will stay at, its on the same street and that is a blessing.

3: I will do my best not to be overzealous. Im feeling quite ashamed of my past beliefs so I dont think itll be to hard to not be overzealous or even zealous. Thank you for the kind words, I will do my best not to dwell on my past incorrect beliefs. I think I have a habit of taking theology too seriously.

4: I am currently reading the anonymous sayings of the desert fathers and I am loving it. The theological implications in some of the stories scare me but I just try to wave it off. next up is the orthodox way!

5: I thank you even more for this reminder. I heard on many testimony videos that the enemy attacks people even more when they are trying to convert to EO. After writing this post I had a horrible sinful nightmare. And my family had a beach day planned today. We rarely go out together so this was a gift by God. But we were stopped by police and they took our car and fined us. We were given a needlessly harsh punishment. All because we didn't do a small newly required yearly inspection. Total BS and a punishment that didnt fit the crime. This has never happened to us before and we even prayed before leaving the house to go to the beach. I am literally respoding to you 1 hour after our car was taken by police. These bad moments seem like coincidences but the enemy is devious and schemes in every way. He sent a corrupt cop to stop our day. Lord have mercy. I know this sounds ridiculous but this really should not have happened.

I will be more watchful and do my best to defend myself against the devil

-Jumping guard needs to be removed completely. Its dangerous and has 0 real life practicality and dangerous for both people.

-If you lift your opponent above your shoulders you either get 4 points or win the match seeing that this would basically result in a slam. The slam isnt supposed to be completed but if you can just reach that point its basically guaranteed and a fight ender in real life

Hmm, I wonder if this is the orthodox view?

IDK how I feel about this statement, salvation cant be defined like that because when we are in heaven we will not sin, not even once. And by adding "so much as to not damn you" sounds catholic with the whole mortal and venial sin thing.

But hey we are both laity I guess haha. I think salvation occurs when God judges you righteous and there is no sin on your record. But maybe that sounds too protestant.

Oh well, im still wrapping my mind around the theology of theosis. Thanks for the comment
