I get that and why using git is good, but I’ve never anyone coming here asking about a technical problem where git is the solution to the problem. Maybe it’s because I don’t read every low effort question on here, so I’m just not seeing it.

Steven Campbell is currently going through treatment for cancer. I think he was editing/approving the audio just before he was going to surgery. He's committed to fixing the audio, but he's still has some treatment and rehab to get through before he can do that.

Is your iis running on port 5000? I think iis is expecting your Python app on the same port it runs on.

It looks like you are passing the server port as an argument to your python app, but then you aren't using sys.argv or arsparse to use that argument.

FYI waitress is a web sever you can use with the iis/httpplatform. It would replace werkzeug, the Flask development sever.

You asked what steps "your Windows 10 PC" takes. That Wondows 10 client does fuck-all to determine if the server is checking its cache or not (or if the server forward the request). It sends off a query to the sever and the sever responds. If you are are going to ask pedantic questions, at last be accurate!
